The Left Wants America to Be Less White

The obsession of elites over Race and Racism to the exclusion of almost everything else now is really remarkable. The alleged victimhood of certain tribes is a top narrative every day in the news. The group to blame, the media now asserts, is white people.

The United States was founded and designed by white Protestant men, yet millions of diverse foreigners around the world want to immigrate here. So the narrative is false, but the noise distracts from what the Democrat government is up to — gaining more power.

Tucker Carlson recently discussed the left’s “whiteness” racism and the behavior it requires. Guest JD Vance further observed that “we’re constantly divided against each other, because that’s the way our leaders want it.”

A spare video is here.

TUCKER CARLSON: So you’re not really allowed to notice what’s happening in Seattle or any of our big cities which are collapsing, and people like Robin DiAngelo are charged with making you not notice.

According to Robin DiAngelo, America’s biggest problem has nothing to do with economics. It’s not crime or unemployment. It’s not the mismanagement of the people in charge. The problem with Americans is their DNA.

Now, a sane society would reject that for what it is, open racism, but Robin DiAngelo has gotten richer and more famous. She’s all over television saying the same thing. Your skin color determines whether or not you’re a good person.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
“WHITE FRAGILITY” AUTHOR ROBIN DIANGELO: I’ll never forget asking a group, okay, so what if you could just give us feedback on our inevitable and often unaware racist assumptions and behaviors and I’ll never forget this black man raising his hand and saying it would be revolutionary.  And you know, just like — just take that in. I just want all the white people to just take that in.

Revolutionary that we would receive the feedback with grace, reflect and seek to change our behavior.  That’s how difficult we are. That’s how big a-holes we are.

JIMMY FALLON, TALK SHOW HOST: Yes.
(END VIDEO CLIP)

CARLSON: Poor Jimmy Fallon. He just wanted to sing songs and do his little comedy thing and yet, he got caught up in this horrible moment and he is going along with it. It is a hostage tape every night.

That was last year, by the way, Robin DiAngelo has not gone away. Now, she is delivering video lectures as part of something called “The LinkedIn Learning Series.” And if LinkedIn is behind it, it’s everywhere.

Several major corporations direct employees to the learning platform, which is owned by Microsoft. In wonderful lunatic presentations, DiAngelo notes that quote, “To be less white is to be less oppressive, less arrogant, less defensive, and more humble.” You’re seeing that slide on your screen.

The presentation goes on to urge employees to quote, “Try to be less white.” Again, many corporations are using LinkedIn for training including Coca-Cola, which is run, you won’t be surprised to know, by a white guy.

J.D. Vance is the author of “Hillbilly Elegy.” He joins us tonight. J.D., I have to wonder what effect this kind of stuff is having on our society.

AUTHOR J.D. VANCE: Well, first of all, Tucker, I think it’s ridiculous and frankly, it’s destroying our society.

So you I think about my own family, Tucker, one of the great things that’s happened to me, I think the greatest thing in my life is that I married a woman who wasn’t the same skin color as me and I was able to do that, because I grew up in a country that taught us not to think about each other as members of a racial group. We were taught to think about each other as people.

And what these people are doing by constantly forcing us to focus on the color of our skin is they are destroying an essential part of American heritage that we can judge people based on the content of their character.

They’re doing it, I think, for cynical reasons, but at the end of the day, they’re going to destroy something that’s critical and important and good about this country and we should fight back against it.

CARLSON: I wonder how you can you live in — I mean, we have, cynicism aside, a truly diverse country. There is no majority religion, even barely ethnicity at this point. That’s — I don’t think anyone’s mad about that. But how do you have a country like that if you’re taught by your leaders to hate each other because of your differences? Like how does that work long term?

According to Leftists, America Is Too Racist for Non-White Immigration

To hear professional liberals talk, the United States is a horrible racist place with no redeeming qualities. Seriously, it’s a wonder that anyone would want to relocate here, much less many millions of people around the world.

In fact, a 2018 Gallup poll found that more than 750 million people worldwide want to leave their home nations to relocate elsewhere. Unsurprisingly, the United States was the top choice, with 158 million picking the US.

A report at the time from Tucker Carlson noted a Pew survey that found residents of the receiving nations were not positive toward increasing immigration at all: as Breitbart News accurately headlined Pew: No Majority of Citizens in the World Support Increasing Immigration.

So American citizens who want immigration controlled — not massively increased with open borders as Biden is planning — are normal human beings who want law, order and cultural continuity.

On Monday, Tucker Carlson took up the idea of American racism with Heather MacDonald who recently published a thoughtful article in Newsweek titled If ‘Systemic Racism’ Is Real, Why Does Biden Want To Bring Immigrants Here?.

SPARE AUDIO:

TUCKER CARLSON: Institutional racism in America — you hear that a lot. Anyone who asks questions about it gets in trouble — people have been fired for asking, hey what is that? The question is — is it real? By the way will they define it, for once no.

But if institutional systemic racism is what Joe Biden says it is, why is he acting as he is? If this country, if America is so bigoted that people of color can’t live here, if it’s institutionally racist — then why is Joe Biden suspending immigration law to allow as many people from non-white countries as possible to move here? Wouldn’t that be dangerous for them?

Heather MacDonald is at the Manhattan Institute. She wrote an op-ed about this in Newsweek and she joins us tonight. Heather, thanks so much for coming on. This is an inherent contradiction at the center of their argument, and I’m interested in hearing someone explain it, and I know you can.

HEATHER MACDONALD: It’s hilarious, Tucker. I mean this is one of the most profound contradictions within the heart of the left-wing world view. On the one hand — as Biden said during the campaign as he said in his inauguration speech as he said since, then America is lethally racist. On the other hand we should break down every single reasonable commonsensical immigration control in order to bring in legally and illegally as many third-world immigrants of color as possible.

Both positions cannot be true. if Biden believes that that black children are at risk of getting shot every time they step outside, we should not be bringing more black children into this country. This is an opportunity for Republicans, Tucker, to call them out on this.

Both positions together are disastrous when combined as a policy matter. Every time Biden comes to Congress and wants to add an amnesty, wants to dismantle deportation, do catch and release — ask them to justify why they are doing this when in their view America is so systemically racist.

CARLSON: No it’s such a great point. Their relentless incessant race talk is really hurting the country. It’s based in lies, it makes people hate each other. I wonder if they know that — I mean, what is the endgame here? And I said it’s an open question, but quickly I mean, how do you think they think this ends up in the end?

MACDONALD: They want to completely change the character of this country, the foundation of it, the norms, the traditions and the demographics of it. To be very honest, it is based in hatred towards a civilization deemed too white and too male, and they’re going to do everything they can — whether it’s spewing the poison of identity politics, teaching Americans to hate each other, to hate their past or flooding it with low-skilled mass low-skilled immigration that increases the wealth gap that hurts American blacks and hispanics.

And in an environment where you’ve got this ideology of racial hatred, we are making assimilation impossible. In my experience, many immigrants are picking up the narrative about white supremacy, they feel entitled, they they hate the country to be honest. I’ve spent a lot of time here in California talking to people in Santa Ana — police officers will tell you they insist, they expect to be spoken to in their native language.

This is not the way to assimilate immigrants, and it’s not the way to keep a country going to spread this hatred and tell lies about its fundamental character.

CARLSON: No, it’s definitely making people hate each other and that’s bad, it’s bad — it will not end well. I appreciate your coming on tonight, Heather MacDonald. Thank you.

CIS’ Andrew Arthur Discusses Immigration Policy with Tucker Carlson

It’s nice to see Tucker Carlson talking about immigration again, something that has fallen off his list of subjects recently. Perhaps he thought President Trump had it covered, even though excessive immigration threatens the historic nature of America.

At any rate, on Friday Tucker interviewed Andrew Arthur, a former judge who is currently affiliated with the Center for Immigration Studies. His CIS bio notes employment with the Immigration and Naturalization Service and eight years working as an immigration judge in Pennsylvania. So Arthur knows the topic from inside the system.

One aspect of this discussion lurking in the background is the preference of Democrats for foreigners over Americans. As it happens, hispanics prefer the Democrat philosophy of Big Government, as shown in a 2012 Pew Research survey. So that correlation of viewpoints works out well for Democrats, but not so much for Americans as a whole.

A Democrat-run government with a President Biden would definitely put immigration on the front burner again — and not in a good way.

TUCKER CARLSON: Welcome back to a special edition of Tucker Carlson Tonight. Republicans were not able to pass any kind of immigration bill restricting immigration, protecting our borders over the past several years, but if Democrats take control of the Senate on January 5th, they won’t be quite as passive. The first thing they will do is to fundamentally change our immigration system — open the borders to the rest of the world. They’re not hiding this; they’ve been open about it for months.

JOE BIDEN (TV clip): Some of it’s going to depend on the kind of cooperation I can or cannot get from the United States Congress, but I am going to make a commitment: in the first hundred days I will send a immigration bill to the United States Senate with a pathway to citizenship for over 11 million undocumented people in America.

CARLSON: First of all it’s not 11 million — you’d have to be 119 years old to think that — it’s over 20 million. But the macro point is this: millions of Americans have been looking for work for so long that they’ve given up looking; they’re not even listed on the unemployment stats. Now Democrats plan to give them more competition in the labor market. So who’s benefiting from this exactly? Not Americans. Andrew Arthur is the Resident Fellow in Law and Policy for the Center of Immigration Studies, and we’re happy to have him on tonight. Andrew, thanks for coming on.

ANDREW ARTHUR: Thank you for having me.

CARLSON: Who does benefit from this exactly?

ARTHUR: Well. the people who benefit from this are big business. Wealthy people benefit from open borders, essentially limitless immigration because for them everything comes cheaper. Food is cheaper; you go to the grocery store, rather than paying you know 39 cents for a head of lettuce, you pay 35 cents for a head of lettuce. You can get your lawn cut cheaper, you can get your house painted cheaper, but the people who suffer the most, Tucker, are the people who are at the margins of society, the people that we you know usually hear that these folks care about — disadvantaged Americans, inner city youth, members of minority groups and immigrants who haven’t adjusted to life in the United States yet. Those are the people who are in direct competition because most of the people who enter the United States illegally are people who don’t have high levels of education, don’t have a lot of work skills. Now there’s nothing you know wrong with that — my father never went to college, worked in a steel mill. But when you bring in a huge mass of uneducated unskilled individuals to directly compete against Americans, those Americans suffer.

CARLSON: And it’s also true at the higher end. I mean our schools were bad before covid; now the schools are just shut down and kids are learning nothing. Nobody seems to care and instead of fixing that, they’ve decided, well we’re just going to bring in more educated people from India and China to do jobs that Americans aren’t qualified to do. I mean it kind of removes any incentive to fix American schools, doesn’t it?

ARTHUR: It really does, and you know there’s this canard that you know we need more STEM graduates. A few years ago the the Census Bureau did a survey in which they found that about 25 percent of people who had STEM degrees were working in a STEM job, and we’ve seen this over and over again. Computer programmers are brought in; IT people are brought in from abroad on temporary visa programs, and even right now the United States Congress is considering a bill that would make it so much easier for Big Tech to bring in those tech workers to replace our students that we encourage to go get tech jobs for the 21st century. Well, those jobs aren’t going to be available to them if this happens. So you know these are things that Americans really need to think about if they have kids, and yes we’ve seen the quality of our own schools go down. We need to be putting more money into educational opportunities, but we also need to have jobs for those students to take. I’ve seen it you know again and again in cities across America.

CARLSON: Only 25 percent of STEM graduates held jobs in STEM in science and technology — that’s an amazing statistic, Andrew Arthur. I appreciate you coming on. Thank you.

And here’s the 2014 Census Bureau survey of STEM graduates and their employment: Census Bureau Reports Majority of STEM College Graduates Do Not Work in STEM Occupations.

Coronavirus Makes Borders Popular — Even in Mexico!

The coronavirus event that the media has made its top story certainly has people wound up. Example numero uno from down south: Mexicans are demanding more border controls to keep out possibly infectious Americans — who could have imagined such a thing?

It’s certainly true that the Mexican Presidente Lopez Obrador has maintained a strangely unconcerned attitude about the contagious illness, which cannot be reassuring for his people.

This tweet shows some of the protesters who want to wake their presidente out of his snoozing regarding public health:

Here’s more about the new Mexican pro-borders viewpoint:

Coronavirus: Mexicans demand crackdown on Americans crossing the border, BBC, 26 March 2020

Mexican protesters have shut a US southern border crossing amid fears that untested American travellers will spread coronavirus.

Residents in Sonora, south of the US state of Arizona, have promised to block traffic into Mexico for a second day after closing a checkpoint for hours on Wednesday.

They wore face masks and held signs telling Americans to “stay at home”.

Mexico has fewer than 500 confirmed Covid-19 cases and the US over 65,000.

The border is supposed to be closed to all except “essential” business, but protesters said there has been little enforcement and no testing by authorities.

The blockade was led by members of the group Sonorans for Health and Life, who called for medical testing to be done on anyone who crosses from the US into Mexico.

Jose Luis Hernandez, a group member, told the Arizona Republic: “There are no health screenings by the federal government to deal with this pandemic. That’s why we’re here in Nogales. We’ve taken this action to call on the Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to act now.” (Continues)

Meanwhile, some friends of American sovereignty fear an uptick in illegal border crossers if the coronavirus kicks up trouble in Mexico.

Borders — (nearly) everybody likes them now in the Age of Corona!

TUCKER CARLSON: So a lot of consequences maybe we haven’t thought through of this pandemic, and one of them is countries to our south could be destabilized by it, and you could see a surge, a big surge of illegal immigration come up from Latin America. If that does happen, and it absolutely could happen, are we prepared to deal with it?

Mark Morgan is Acting Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection, and he joins us tonight. Mr. Morgan, thanks very much for coming on. This does not seem like a crazy possibility. It’s very easy to imagine that a place like Mexico which doesn’t seem to be doing anything to protect the population is flouting any suggestion that they lock anyone down — that they could have massive problems with this. What would that mean for us? Continue reading this article

Mexico Is Not Ready for Any Public Health Crisis

There is one good aspect to the coronavirus event, and that is the rediscovery of borders: they are so handy in keeping out people who might cause the preventable deaths of Americans from disease.

Unfortunately we face the Third World to our south and the border there is inadequate.

Perhaps worse is the cavalier attitude of Mexico toward the contagion. Life goes on as normal there in the corrupt and clueless nation. President Lopez Obrador leads the way, still hugging supporters at campaign rallies and remarking, “the pandemics… are not going to do anything to us.”

Mexicans have long thought of themselves as superior for some odd reason, but this latest delusion is a bit much.

Details were recently described in The Federalist:

Mexico Is Dangerously Unprepared For The Inevitable Wuhan Coronavirus Outbreak, By John David Davidson, March 16, 2020, The Federalist

The disease is going to spread fast in Mexico, where a weak and corrupt state has made almost no preparations.

As much of the world goes into various stages of lockdown because of the Wuhan coronavirus, Mexico is in denial. The government’s response thus far has been to downplay the risks and carry on with life as normal. Mexican officialdom has taken almost no steps to contain the virus or prepare for an outbreak, despite a warning last week from the deputy health minister that a widespread outbreak is inevitable and that community transmission could begin there in a matter of weeks.

When that happens—not if, when—things are going to deteriorate very quickly in Mexico. The outbreak will almost certainly affect the entire country, cripple the economy, and threaten to bring down an already weak and corrupt government. . . .

The author John Daniel Davidson appeared with Tucker Carlson on Tuesday to discuss the illegal immigration implications.

Davidson thinks things could get messy when the Mexican public decides the disease is a problem and they would like some nice American healthcare.

TUCKER CARLSON: Well, as the coronavirus pandemic spreads, nations around the world are rediscovering the value of borders. Even Canada has closed itself off from outsiders.

Of course, if we wanted to shut our border, it would be difficult along the 2,000-mile border with Mexico, it would be impossible.

According to the New York Times, the Border Patrol will soon be instructed to immediately return all people detained at the border, even without a hearing.

But even then, if Mexico was hit hard by coronavirus outbreak, are we remotely ready for the ramifications of what could happen next?

John Daniel Davidson wrote a piece about this recently for The Federalist. We’re happy to have him on tonight. John, thanks so much for coming on. Explain what could happen if you would.

JOHN DANIEL DAVIDSON: Yes, right now Mexico doesn’t have a huge outbreak of the coronavirus. I think they have less than a hundred confirmed cases right now.

But the danger is if there is an outbreak there, and there will be an outbreak there, health officials have said it is inevitable, it will be uncontrolled partly because the Mexican state is incredibly weak and corrupt.

They barely exercise control over vast swathes of their own territory, and the healthcare system there is virtually non-existent in some places.

So an outbreak there is going to put communities in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and California that border Mexico in great danger even if the coronavirus is introduced to those areas from the United States.

Crossing back and forth over the Rio Grande is going to become a very great concern because of the lack of any kind of governmental control and the lack of any kind of preparedness in Mexico right now. Continue reading this article

Tucker Carlson: America’s Medical Dependence on China Is Dangerous

On Friday, Tucker Carlson examined the threat of Red China to the United States as shown by the coronavirus outbreak. The globalist economy, so profitable to big business, has put too much power in the hands of hostile communist China which manufactures a large proportion of the pharmaceuticals upon which we Americans depend.

Regarding the current worldwide contagion, Dr. Drew Pinsky has made a good case that the media has driven the huge freakout about an ailment that is not as nearly deadly as the regular flu.

Even so, the larger truth is that unfriendly China “dominates the world market in pharmaceutical ingredients” as Tucker observes, and “more than 95 percent of all the antibiotics in America are manufactured in Communist China.”

This situation is not conducive to America’s national security, particularly when Chinese economist Li Daokui suggested last year that medicine could be used as a weapon against the West:

“Just as some international analysts have pointed out, we are indeed at the mercy of others when it comes to computer chips, but we are the world’s largest exporter of vitamin and antibiotic ingredients,” Li said last March during a speech at a national advisory conference, as quoted by state-run Xinhua (Chinese). “If we cut back exports, some western countries’ medical system won’t operate well.”

Nice people, these ChiComs!

Whatever the nature of the coronavirus — global pandemic or media hiccup — the event has shown how unwise it is to allow the unfriendly Chinese to manufacture so many necessary pharmaceuticals. The global economy and healthcare are not a good mix, and especially so when Red China is involved.

Tucker Carlson sounds inclined to believe the worst about the corona illness, but nevertheless he makes important points about the big picture of the Chinese threat and the borderless world generally regarding public health.

Audio file:

TUCKER CARLSON: Good evening, and welcome to Tucker Carlson Tonight.

There comes a time in every presidential administration when the people in charge realize they’re not really in control. Unforeseen events arise. In an instant, every assumption about the future changes. Heads of State die, wars erupt, natural disasters descend, epidemics rage — none of it was in anybody’s plan. There’s something about human nature that prevents us from preparing for this, for abrupt and radical change. We pretend the unexpected will never happen.

But there’s something in nature itself that reminds us it inevitably will. It’s always a terrifying realization.

The rise of the Chinese coronavirus is that kind of moment. The virus is quickly becoming a global pandemic. Ultimately, it could kill millions, at the very least, it will reorder the global economy and change our politics.

Could the disease help determine the outcome of our next presidential election eight months from now? Of course, it could, in fact it will. Our leaders can’t stop that.

Like all matters of life and death. It is beyond human power to affect, but they can respond to the threat in a way that makes this country stronger, not weaker.

How can they do that? Here’s how. The first step is to take the virus seriously and to convince the public that you are.

In 1918, Woodrow Wilson’s White House downplayed the Spanish influenza and refused to take obvious precautions to slow it spread. Wilson had a pointless war in progress in Europe to fight. His generals couldn’t be distracted from that goal.

So the government continued to ship men to overcrowded army camps across the country and to pack them on ships to France. The virus spread exponentially.

In the end, about 53,000 American soldiers were killed in combat in that war, at least 675,000 Americans died of the flu.

Could Wilson have prevented that disaster? Well, not entirely. But by early and decisive action, he could have improved America’s odds.

So what does effective action look like now? Well, we ought to be screening people when they get off the planes from infected countries. That’s not complicated. It’s obvious.

But at the same time, it is hardly a solution. We should be honest about how much we can do to keep the Chinese coronavirus from coming here.

A hundred years ago, the Spanish flu killed a significant percentage of the population in remote Aleutian Islands and that was before air travel.

Today, the entire world is connected by hourly international flights. Global pandemics are inevitable. There’s too much movement to keep viruses isolated. We should acknowledge that.

Yes, we can do our best to keep foreign diseases out of this country, but we ought to spend most of our time trying to figure out how to protect Americans once the diseases get here.

There’s still a lot we don’t know about the Chinese coronavirus, but two things do seem clear. It is highly communicable and the elderly and people with preexisting respiratory disease face the greatest threat from it.

That means for most Americans, the biggest risks will come not from the virus itself, but from its ancillary effects. People will panic. Travel will be disrupted. Markets will tumble and most critically, hospitals will be overwhelmed.

We’re about to learn the limits of our healthcare system. Conditions will be tough for the many thousands of Americans looking for beds to recover from the flu. In Seattle, they already are.

But things will be even worse for anyone suffering from say pancreatitis or a burst appendix; not to mention, countless other health emergencies.

People like this may not get care at all. Our system won’t be able to accommodate them.

There are many implications of this and some of them are political. For example, is this really the time to invite the rest of the world to join Medicare-for-All? Probably not. That idea was always stupid. Now, it’s clearly dangerous. Continue reading this article

Tucker Carlson: H-1b Visa Program Continues to Displace American Workers

Is President Trump depending on the general lameness of the 2020 Democrats — the Cuba-loving commie and the senile gasbag — to assure his re-election?

Unfortunately for the American people, the president cannot honestly campaign on his record of immigration enforcement to attract voters, though he promised a lot of policing in the beginning of his term. But his record is simply not strong.

He has depended on Mexico to keep out the thousands from Central America and beyond — a deal which appears to be weakening as a result of left-leaning judges.

There is no universal e-Verify (which would be more effective that the border wall), even though he had a Republican congress for two years but refused to poke the useless Speaker Paul Ryan into action on that issue.

Another unfulfilled Trump promise was ending the H-1b visa which has been used to replace thousands of well educated citizen tech workers with cheapie foreigners, often Indians.

Below, in 2015 former Disney employees Dave Powers and Leo Perrero told their stories of being summarily laid off by the company to make way for H-1b workers whom they were forced to train.

On Wednesday, Tucker Carlson examined the H-1b issue and the continuing pain it causes to American tech workers.

Perhaps President Trump will see the segment and do more to fix the harmful legislation — after all, this is an election year.

TUCKER CARLSON: President Trump travelled to India last week to meet with that country’s Prime Minister, Prime Minister Modi. One of the central issues at their meeting was the H-1b visa program. that program doles out roughly 85,000 visas a year to foreigners so they can move to this country and take American jobs.

I’m not exaggerating, that’s what it does: the vast majority of these visas are given to people from India. As a candidate in 2016, Donald Trump called for ending this program entirely, but as president that hasn’t happened, though the Trump administration has made the visas slightly harder to get.

So why is the program still around? Why is it so durable? That’s an easy question to answer — it’s a favorite of tech companies which claim they simply can’t find any Americans skilled enough or smart enough to do tech work.

That’s a lie, a provable lie: companies routinely use H-1bs as a means to fire their existing American workers and replace them with lower paid foreigners. Often the fired workers are made to train their replacements before they’re terminated. The process for the replaced workers is painful and humiliating. Company executives tell them they’re being reassigned to a completely new company with a new role that consists of training people to do the job they once did. When they are not needed any more, they’re cast aside.

We recently spoke to some AT&T employees who are quote “rebadged” by the company to train cheaper replacements from India. Here’s their story:

ANONYMOUS FORMER AT&T EMPLOYEE: You’re just kind of numb. You just feel helpless, and you just accept it. Continue reading this article

Tucker Carlson Examines Bernie’s Support for Extreme Open Borders Ideology

A lot of political pundits remark about candidate Bernie Sanders that at least he’s the same Vermont socialist he has been for the last 30 years.

But that assessment is not true. Bernie has flipped over to the side of the deep-state globalists who think borders and national sovereignty are obsolete and need to go. He once supported American workers and understood that excessive immigration drove down wages.

No longer. He has succumbed to the open-borders insanity of the left including free healthcare and college for the invaders. Bernie has also embraced the scary-bad New Way Forward Act that threatens the basic law and order we all expect.

In 2015, he objected to open borders as “a Koch brothers proposal” but the senator is all the way there now.

Democrats used to be represent American working people, but dropped that allegiance when the party discovered that immigrants, particularly hispanics, were more dependable big-government voters than picky citizens.

Under Bernie’s generous plan, why wouldn’t a hundred million foreigners come? Or a billion? Unlimited free stuff from the most desirable nation on earth would be irresistible.

Not to mention the money-making opportunities in a wide open America for drug cartels and other criminal enterprises from abroad.

On Thursday Tucker Carlson examined Bernie’s embrace of extreme open borders:

However, Tucker did not speculate on why Bernie switched to the dark side.

TUCKER CARLSON: All of a sudden, Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont is the frontrunner in the Democratic race. As of tonight, Sanders has by far the best chance in the whole Democratic Party of getting the nomination. So how should you feel about that?

Well if you’re conservative, it’s probably a little hard to take the whole thing seriously. For one thing it seemed to come out of nowhere — nobody expected it, nobody on TV warned you it was gonna happen.

For another thing, Sanders isn’t half as gut-level offensive as someone like say Elizabeth Warren. Unlike Warren, Sanders is obviously sincere about what he believes; he means it.

He’s got the right enemies too. CNN appears to hate Bernie Sanders every bit as much as they hate Donald Trump. That’s a plus, and unlike everyone else on the left Sanders talks mostly about economics rather than Putin and non-binary bathrooms. And it’s refreshing to hear someone focus on things that matter for once. Plus it’s not like Sanders is gonna win the presidency. You keep hearing people on both sides saying there is no possibility, no chance in the world that Bernie Sanders will get elected president in November, and that sounds right basically.

The guy calls himself a socialist — come on now, this is America. That’s what we’re telling ourselves, but are we absolutely sure that that’s true? But ask yourself this — who was the last candidate they told you on television could never ever win? — oh yeah, the current president. So ignore the people on TV. They’re morons, they lack wisdom, they lack imagination, they’re almost always wrong about everything.

Of course Bernie Sanders could win the general election. A year from now we could be in the first months of a Bernie Sanders administration, and this would be a completely different country. What kind of country would it be?

Well tonight we’re beginning a series on Bernie Sanders’ America. We take Sanders seriously; we think you should take him seriously too.

So we’re starting tonight with Sanders’ views on immigration. It’s a topic that affects this country on every level. For decades Sanders had what would now be considered conservative views on immigration: he cared about higher wages for workers — that was his issue.

Mass immigration lowers wages, so Sanders was against it. It’s that simple. Then Sanders ran for president and his views changed completely. Now Sanders is as radical on immigration as anyone else in the race.

For example, he’s come out against virtually all deportations — all. Watch:

SENATOR BERNIE SANDERS: A moratorium on deportations for the 99 percent of the people is nothing to be cynical about. I think that is a significant step forward, and the undocumented community would be very proud of that.

CARLSON: Ending 99 percent of deportations to please the undocumented community. You should know that that number includes violent felons. Sanders went on to say only if an illegal alien commits a quote terrible terrible crime — only then, Sanders quote might consider deporting that person — might.

Now Sanders wouldn’t have to change any laws to do this; he could simply order federal authorities to stop deportations. He could do that day one, and that’s his plan. Imagine what that would mean for this country — foreign nationals commit crimes, and we can’t send them home. Continue reading this article

Montgomery County (Sanctuary) Remains Popular for Illegal Alien Criminals

In the annals of Sanctuary zones for protecting illegal alien criminals, Montgomery County Maryland might be considered notorious. Former immigration judge Andrew Arthur remarked in an August 28 interview with Tucker Carlson, “Montgomery County probably has one of the strongest anti-ICE policies that I can think of.”

Last summer, the county had a run of weekly arrests of illegal aliens for rape and sexual assault.

In fact, Montgomery County’s Sanctuary policy and the resulting crime wave by illegal aliens prompted a protest rally in September attended by writer Michelle Malkin and radio host Larry O’Connor.

Fast forward to the present, and the Sanctuary policy and illegal alien crime both remain in the county.

On Wednesday, Laura Ingraham presented a brief history of Trump vs. sanctuary, then followed with the most recent illegal alien sex crime.

Spare audio:

TUCKER CARLSON: The Trump administration won a victory in Federal Court today and its ongoing fight against the nation’s many sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants. Chief breaking news correspondent, Trace Gallagher has the details on what happened. Hey, Trace.

TRACE GALLAGHER: Hey, Tucker. This is a big battle victory for the President because it means he might go on to win the war.

Remember back in 2017, the administration moved to withhold about $400 million in federal grant money from cities and states that have implemented sanctuary laws and policies where they refuse to cooperate with federal immigration authorities when it comes to dealing with illegal immigrants.

The cities and states quickly filed lawsuits and a series of lower courts ruled in their favor. Later, the more liberal 3rd, 7th, and 9th Circuit Courts of Appeal upheld the lower court decisions saying the administration had to give up the grant money.

But now the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in New York has sided with the administration and because there is now a major conflict between the various Circuit Courts, it’s likely the Supreme Court will step in to make the final call and decide from the court leaning five-four conservative, SCOTUS has repeatedly and long said the Federal government maintains broad power over states when it comes to immigration policies — Tucker.

CARLSON: Interesting. Trace Gallagher, thanks for that.

GALLAGHER: Sure.

LAURA INGRAHAM: This was a huge victory for the Trump administration today. A federal appeals court ruling that he can in fact withhold funding from so-called sanctuary cities that refuse to cooperate with ICE. Perhaps the president should start with the sanctuary in his own backyard, the D.C. suburb of Montgomery County, Maryland, just a few miles from where we are broadcasting tonight.

In the span of just two months in 2019, the county saw at least nine illegal aliens arrested for rape and sex abuse crimes, many of them against children. And this week we saw perhaps the most disturbing case yet. Two high school students aged 19 and 20, yes, you heard that right, were arrested and charged with raping two different 11-year-old girls — 11-year-olds. One of the suspects, the 20-year-old, is a Salvadoran national who is living here illegally. Continue reading this article

Kris Kobach Agrees “New Way Forward” Bill Is Monstrous

Before the Tea Party and Donald Trump, the elites of the Deep State had a pretty tight grip on the little citizens, or so they thought. But the rebelliousness in recent years against the globalist rulers has angered them, and the response has been a rather shocking level of contempt and outright hatred toward the citizens elites oversee.

Below, Boston Tea Party members rally in 2010.

One expression is the “New Way Forward” bill (HR 5383) which shows extreme favoritism to illegal aliens and disdain for actual Americans — the ones who obey the laws and built the country.

As Tucker Carlson remarked recently of elite liberals who support the legislation, “This is the kind of thing you do to a country you hate and clearly they do.”

On Thursday, the longtime friend of American sovereignty Kris Kobach joined Tucker to discuss the threat of the New Way Forward legislation, starting at around 1:40 in the video below:

(Spare video here)

TUCKER CARLSON: Kris Kobach is a former Kansas Secretary of State. He’s running for Senate in that state. We’re happy to have him tonight — Kris, thanks so much for coming on.

So I can’t get past this talking point which I’ve heard again and again recently which is illegal aliens, undocumented immigrants, are more American than you are, Mr. and Mrs. American. What do you make of that?

KRIS KOBACH: It is really disturbing, Tucker, and it also echoes the New Way Forward bill, which you have laid out very clearly for viewers to see. Because the New Way Forward bill says that aliens have a, quote, right to come home, criminal aliens have a right to come home. Home.

And so if they’re as American as we are and they have a right to come home, this is a disturbing view of what they think it is to be an American. They think that America is just a place on a map, and if you stand on American soil ever so briefly, suddenly you’re an American.

But of course that’s contrary to centuries of American history. They reject assimilation, they reject an American creed that all immigrants come to adopt. And they want to break that down because the parts of the American creed, things like capitalism and the rule of law, are things that the Democrats no longer accept. So I found it really really shocking how they have adopted this mantra that illegal aliens are as American as we are.

CARLSON: Well, it sends a pretty clear message. If I said to my children, you know, the kid down the street, the one who’s always breaking into houses and never goes to school and gives us the finger when we drive to church, he’s every bit as much my child as you are. In fact, maybe even a little more. The message to the kids would be really clear, I hate you. Wouldn’t it be?

KOBACH: Yeah, yeah, exactly and the message sent by the New Way Forward bill, you mentioned many of the problems in it. On top of what you mentioned, Tucker, there’s another problem: it would turn every city in America into a Sanctuary City.

Local police would be forbidden from helping ICE in any way, and so just imagine, thousands of Americans would lose their lives, would be injured, and if you’re one of those victims of someone who’s been brought back into the United States, you’ve been injured by the illegal alien, and you’ve been betrayed by your country — in the name of what? It’s insane.

CARLSON: Yeah, in the name of what. Can they get elected on this? Is there popular support for these ideas?

KOBACH: Thank goodness, no. I don’t think so. Certainly not among Republicans and the vast majority of Independents don’t embrace this idea, and I think even a lot of Democrats too are rejecting how the leadership of their party has gone so far to the left. So much for embracing illegality in this country, and as you pointed out, embracing illegal alien criminals so much that they want to fly them back to the United States after they’ve been deported. I can’t see how that makes sense to most voters, and including Democrats.

CARLSON: It’s scary as hell. Kris Kobach, thanks so much for coming on. Good to see you.

California: Dry Winter Is Apparent from Sierra Snowpack Photos from Space

Whenever Democrat 2020 candidates yap about America offering open borders to the world, it’s clear that they have never considered the environmental carrying capacity of our little space on the planet.

Unfortunately, California is a popular place for foreigners of varying legality to relocate which has given us more than 10 million foreigners as fellow residents.

There’s no question this state is overpopulated in an environmental sense, and water supply is the most immediate and vital issue in this regard. While much of the state’s water goes to agriculture, public service messages will likely be appearing soon on TV urging California residents to conserve water.

So I’m back to catching shower warm-up water in a five-gallon bucket and using it to keep the camellia bush alive.

Wednesday’s Sacramento Bee front-paged the bad news:

Democrats once claimed they supported the environment, but 2020 candidate Joe Biden recently asserted, “We should be able to increase to three million people the people who could come for family reunification” (Joe Biden: ‘Absolutely Bizarre’ to Suggest Limit on U.S. Capacity to Absorb Immigrants, Breitbart.com, February 18, 2020). And family unification is just one category of immigration.

Of course the whole reason foreigners come to America is to increase their income and consumption of consumer goods and physical resources generally. Only the favored phraseology is to “come for a better life.”

Meanwhile, the news shows severe flooding in Mississippi.

But California is dry.

Sierra snowpack withering in California’s dry winter. New satellite image shows the bad news, Sacramento Bee, February 18, 2020

The image is disturbing and leaves little doubt about California’s growing predicament: The snowpack in the Sierra Nevada is a sad whisper of it was a year ago, a withering testament to the lack of precipitation in the state’s increasingly dry winter.

The National Weather Service tweeted satellite images of the Sierra on Tuesday, showing the stark difference between this year and the above-average snowfall from 2019. The mountain snowpack — a crucial element in the state’s annual water supply — is 53 percent of normal for this time of year, according to the Department of Water Resources.

The immediate forecast isn’t promising. NWS meteorologist Emily Heller said there’s a chance of “some light mountain snow this weekend” — perhaps a couple of inches at elevations of 6,000 feet or above. Even that measly forecast is uncertain.

“It’s too early to get everybody’s hopes up,” Heller said.

Three years after former Gov. Jerry Brown declared the official end of the last drought, the lack of precipitation is putting the state on edge all over again.

California needs a healthy snowpack to replenish its water supply in summer and fall, when the precipitation disappears altogether and the state relies on water in its reservoirs. On average, the snowpack provides about 30 percent of the state’s water needs.

The state also needs moisture in the soil to tamp down the wildfire risk. The historic five-year drought killed tens of millions of trees, helping set the stage for the horrific fire seasons of 2017 and 2018. (Continues)

Tucker Carlson Warns against Extreme Democrat Immigration Bill

On Friday, Tucker Carlson reviewed the hazards of the truly scary House bill, the New Way Forward Act (HR 5383), which he first discussed on February 6.

The legislation, sponsored by 44 members of the House, is a shocking statement of what the Democrat party has become today with its support of open borders and hatred of America. Just for starters, known foreign criminals are better treated than US citizens, and a basic concern for public safety is missing entirely. An alien has to be practically an axe murderer to be deported, and the bill even requires citizens to pay to return deported aliens from their home countries to be reinstated as US residents.

So the bill is crazy dangerous.

Tucker discussed the bill with DHS Acting Secretary Chad Wolf, who agreed that the New Way Forward is not the way to go at all.

Spare audio:

TUCKER CARLSON: Well, in this show, we’ve told you a lot about the New Way Forward Act. That’s a bill co-sponsored by more than 40 sitting House Democrats that would completely remake America’s immigration system and the country itself for the sake of protecting foreign born criminals.

Violent felons could not be deported back to their home countries unless they received at least a five-year sentence. Even then a judge could easily override that.

The government, meanwhile, meaning you would have to pay to fly deported criminals back into the United States to resume living here. So what would this means for America? Nobody has a clearer picture of that than Chad Wolf. He is Acting Secretary of Homeland Security. He joins us.

So you’ve read this legislation. You’re familiar with it. If it became law, what would happen to the country?

DHS ACTING SECRETARY CHAD WOLF: Well, it’s very dangerous, I would say it completely guts our immigration enforcement system that we have in place. It also is — just from a pure legality perspective, it just guts the rule of law.

So envision a world where individuals no longer have to wait in line for visas. They can come across the border. It’s no longer a criminality to do that. They can then come into the system, we can’t deport them. We can’t hold people. It essentially abolishes I.C.E. and then on top of all of that, going back 25 years, we then have to find folks, bring them back into the country, re-litigate their immigration proceedings.

So if you’re looking for a way to abolish our immigration system, abolish I.C.E. and just rewrite our immigration code completely, this would be the legislation for you. Continue reading this article
