Biden’s Open Borders Are “Madness” according to Expert

Stephen Miller is a top immigration authority who got Washington experience working for Senator Jeff Sessions and later for President Trump in the White House. Lately he has been appearing on TV discussing the threat posed by the new administration’s border policy.

President Biden’s proposed immigration legislation is beyond extreme in its intent — Miller reports that if passed, it would crush America’s fundamental powers as a nation, namely to control who enters the country. Biden’s borders will melt into nothing as idealized by globalists, transforming citizens into powerless serfs.

Former Trump economist Peter Navarro predicts that more than a million illegal aliens will cross the border in 2021. Obama DHS official Julliette Kayyam has the same numerical estimate.

Most of the foreigners hope to steal American jobs by working extra cheap and avail themselves of generous social services, but there’s nothing to stop enemies from entering among the hordes. Head-choppy jihadists can easily dress like hispanic foreigners to enter for their goal of murdering the hated infidels of the USA.

In addition, more than 10 million Americans are jobless because of the Wuhan virus and shouldn’t be replaced by invasive aliens.

And previously deported foreigners will be invited to re-enter. Amazing, even for Democrats.

Here’s Miller’s appearance on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo:

A spare video is here.

MARIA BARTIROMO: A new border crisis is afoot with congressional Democrats unveiling an ambitious immigration reform bill on Friday that would extend amnesty and citizenship to nearly 20 million illegal immigrants, a population five times the size of Los Angeles. This legislation comes hot on the heels of president Biden’s sweeping executive orders to erase president Trump’s border legacy. Stephen Miller was a senior adviser to President Trump and the architect of the administration’s immigration plan; he joins us this morning.

Stephen it’s great to have you. Let me just point out that you have studied immigration issues for more than a decade. I remember years ago you were a congressional staffer in the House, then you moved over to the Senate. You were studying and working on immigration issues in the Senate before joining President Donald Trump. so give us your expert opinion and assessment of President Biden’s new immigration bill.

STEPHEN MILLER: Thank you, and the reason why I’ve studied immigration so closely is because it’s so fundamental to what it is to be a nation, the right of the people living in a country to decide who enters that country, on what conditions, for how long and how to establish national boundaries and borders. That’s fundamental to what it means to be a country.

The legislation put forward by President Biden and congressional Democrats would fundamentally erase the very essence of America’s nationhood. For the first time I believe in human history, this legislation proposes sending applications to previously deported illegal immigrants and giving them the chance to re-enter the country on a rapid path to citizenship — this is unheard of.

These would be people that ICE officers, at great time and expense, found large numbers of them with criminal records returned to their home countries at taxpayer expense. And now we’re going to have the Secretary of State and Homeland Security mailing applications for readmission and amnesty to previously deported illegal immigrants?

This is madness. Now this is on top of the fact that the current administration has already dismantled border security, canceling President Trump’s historic agreements with Mexico and with the northern triangle countries, restoring catch and release and additionally gutting interior enforcement issuing a memo preventing ICE from removing the vast majority of criminal illegal immigrants that it encounters.

And the last thing I’ll say about that memo is that they have engaged in a fraudulent representation to the court in the Texas litigation because they are claiming this is a resources issue. I know for a fact that ICE has the resources to remove these public safety threats. This is a policy choice disguised falsely to the court and to the country as a resource issue. That is a lie, and it’s a lie that threatens public safety.

BARTIROMO: Wow, and I know that the ICE, Border Patrol men and women are now being told that they have to get authority to make any moves. They need authority from above before detaining anyone. Continue reading this article

DACA Sob Stories Are a Flavor Du Jour for Mainstream Propaganda

Illegal immigration sob stories remain a popular genre for the mainstream press — they are easy to write and have built-in pathos. The young DACA illegals bring appealing victim stories, as long as the scribbler chooses carefully and avoids any embarrassing criminals. (CIS reported in January that 500 DACA criminals and gang members were still at large — best they go unmentioned to create a sensitive sob story.)

But before you get too pulled in to the narrative, remember that the DACAs have mooched expensive American educations and, if working, they have stolen US jobs that belong to citizens by law. Illegal immigration is theft.

The San Jose Mercury put a DACA sniffler on its front page on March 9 — complete with cute pets!

Fernando Hernandez, the man pictured, is 28, so he’s not a kid as the media often portray DACAs. But for an adult, he does seem more anxious than necessary. For example, he wonders whether he can take his car with him if he is deported, even though he is still making payments on it.

Why doesn’t Hernandez call some leftist immigration organization and ask? La Raza et al have plenty of expert lawyers who know the ropes of how to manage the system and screw American sovereignty.

Stuck in limbo, DACA recipients are consumed with fear and anxiety, San Jose Mercury News, March 9, 2018

The anxiety keeps coming in waves.

And right now, for Fernando Hernandez and the hundreds of thousands of young DACA recipients whose fate lies in the hands of a polarized Congress and a mercurial president, the despair is crashing in.

“It’s been weighing down on me,” said Hernandez, 28, of Santa Clara, whose mother crossed the border illegally with him when he was 5 and who now works as a lab technician at an LED company. “It feels like I don’t have an identity anymore, like I’m somebody’s plaything, somebody’s bargaining chip.”

As the latest deadlines to salvage the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival program passed with no action this month — and U.S. Attorney Jeff Sessions announced the Trump Administration is suing California over its sanctuary laws — the chronic sense of foreboding among immigrants across the Bay Area is taking its emotional toll. DACA recipients — who must renew their applications every two years — are allowed to obtain work permits, social security cards and driver’s licenses without fear of deportation. But if Congress doesn’t act by the time their DACA permits expire, will these young people be deported to the countries they barely remember?

Mental health experts and advocates say the fears and uncertainties plaguing undocumented immigrants and their families are causing “toxic stress” that can have long-term health effects, including problems sleeping and eating, headaches, vomiting, depression and anxiety.

“What we’ve seen in the past six to eight months has ruined people’s lives because of the uncertainty,” said Mayra Alvarez, president of the Children’s Partnership, a nonprofit children’s advocacy organization based in Los Angeles. “It’s this constant struggle of not knowing what the future is going to hold and that daily stress that impacts your well being.”

For Hernandez, those fears manifest in questions big and small, from the trajectory of his future, to the fate of his two dogs, Ellie and Chewy, and to the 2013 black Honda Civic he bought and is still making payments on.

“I have no clue what they would do. Would I still have to pay this vehicle off even if I couldn’t use it? Could I take it with me? I don’t know. Would they come knocking on my door, putting me in detainment facilities, put me on a plane and have someone else take care of my stuff? Would they round everyone up?” Hernandez asked. “I would be afraid of losing everything, losing my friends, having to start over again in a place I barely know. I can still speak Spanish, but as far as living a life there, it wouldn’t be mine.”

Trump Trashing Jeff Sessions Portends Danger Ahead

President Trump has been on a Twitter and verbal tirade against Attorney General Jeff Sessions the last few days — as if dumping the AG would solve the president’s problems with the Mueller snooping expedition. It’s sad to see such anger toward one of candidate Trump’s earliest and most enthusiastic supporters.

Below, Senator Sessions spoke at Trump’s Mobile, Alabama, campaign rally on August 21, 2015.

Tucker Carlson declared on his Tuesday show that it would be “Nuts” for Trump to ditch the one man in Washington who fully supports his program of law and sovereignty. But it’s worse than that — throwing Jeff Sessions under the bus might make Trump’s vital immigration enforcement constituency take a more critical look at what the president has actually done.

Candidate Trump promised to end the DACA amnesty immediately, but instead has allowed the program to continue and add new beneficiaries who get work permits and an open door to everything America offers.

Plus, there’s been no push from the White House to get universal e-Verify through the Congress which, as a comprehensive job blocker for illegal aliens, would be a very strong preventative for unlawful entry.

Trump’s immigration enforcement failures seem more egregious in light of his rotten treatment of Jeff Sessions. And would the loss of Sessions signal a flip-flop of Trump toward mass amnesty in the near future? The establishment might cut the president more slack if he accepted the globalist agenda of open borders and diminished national sovereignty.  It’s hard to trust Trump when he can cut the strongest immigration enforcer in Washington.

TUCKER CARLSON: (1:20) Unfair to the presidency. Well the Russian investigation is certainly that — it’s unfair of the country too. The whole thing is stupid and disingenuous, as we pointed out many times, and it helps nobody that the partisans who are pushing it, so it’s easy to understand the frustration the president feels. But publicly attacking Jeff Sessions for all of that? That is nuts.

Senior White House staff thinks so too. They have asked the president to stop, so far without success. Meanwhile Sessions hasn’t said a word: his only public comment has been a press release describing his plans to crack down on sanctuary cities. That’s his job.

That’s the point here. Jeff Sessions is doing what he was hired to do, as he has done since day one. Trump ran on securing the borders: Sessions took him seriously and has worked to do that. Trump promised to end Obama’s policy of harassing local police departments: Sessions has done that too.

In an administration in which many appointees act like they have no idea what their boss ran on — ‘let’s import more refugees’ one of them said the other day — to predictable media applause, Jeff Sessions has stayed true to the ideas that got Trump elected. That’s why the left hates Jeff Sessions more than any other member of the cabinet. They are rejoicing tonight and not just because Sessions is suffering and humiliated but because the Trump coalition seems to be fracturing.

The left wants to believe — they tell you this all the time — that Trump got elected because he’s famous and voters are dumb. But that’s not what happened.

Trump got elected because he said true things that everybody else was afraid to say — namely, the American middle class is in deep trouble and elites in both parties don’t care. They’re happy to replace hurting Americans with foreign workers who will work for less and not complain. Voters knew in their bones that message was true because it is true.

Republicans in Washington absolutely hated hearing that, and they hated Trump for saying it because it implicated them — except for Jeff Sessions. Sessions agreed with that message — that’s why he endorsed Trump and left a good job in the Senate to work for him. Which is how we got to this weird and ominous moment where the one guy in Washington who actually believes in Trumpism is being forced out of his job by Trump himself. The president should remember that the ideas he ran on are bigger than he is and will remain that way.

Is ICE Honcho Homan a Swamp Creature?

On Wednesday, the Acting ICE Director Thomas Homan appeared on Fox News and sounded like a tough enforcer as he discussed his agency’s duties, but his history is a little more complicated.

He railed against MS-13 and sanctuary cities in the interview. When Fox host Neil Cavuto observed how widespread the violent gang has become, Homan responded, “Our intelligence shows they’re in over 40 states across the country” and “we’re coming after them very hard.” He further expounded:

When [President Trump] signed executive orders, he basically told the Border Patrol agents and the 20,000 American patriots that work for ICE: you can now do your job, you will enforce the laws on the books. There’s no population of aliens that’s off the table any more, and we’ve been waiting on that almost a decade now. So you know I’ve made it clear when you enter this country illegally, you have committed a crime, and you can’t want to be a part of this country and not respect its laws, so those who enter the country illegally, you may get past the Border Patrol and in the past you had this feeling that, ‘Okay I’m home free, I got by the Border Patrol and no one’s looking for me’ — well, those days are over. We’re looking for you, we’re gonna prioritize what we do, but we’re going to enforce the law without apology.

Regarding those special safe spaces for illegal aliens, Homan said, “Sanctuary cities in my opinion, they’re unAmerican: that’s not an America I grew up in.”

He certainly has the enforcement song-and-dance patter down, just the sort of thing his new boss likes to hear.

Director Homan sounds like a tough immigration law enforcer, right? Deportation is happening, is it not?

In May, ICE gang arrests netted more than 1300 illegal alien criminals in largest sweep to date.

Interestingly, Breitbart News paints quite a different picture of the ICE leader, that he was Obama’s willing and enthusiastic henchman who released criminal aliens into America like the MS-13 monsters Homan now condemns:

Trump’s ICE Director Helped Author Obama’s Immigration Priorities and Executive Orders, Praised Them, Breitbart.com, by Brandon Darby, July 10, 2017

The Obama-holdover chosen by DHS Secretary John Kelly to direct Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for the Trump Administration helped author Obama’s controversial immigration priorities and executive orders, and he also publicly praised them. Acting ICE Director Thomas Homan made the comments on video shortly before the 2016 presidential election at a time when most thought Hillary Clinton would win, but Donald Trump won and now Homan claims to be an immigration hawk. America’s Senator Jeff Sessions Is Recognized for His Unique Service in Immigration Enforcement

John Fonte has written a fine salute to Senator Jeff Sessions while the Alabama legislator awaits taking his position as Attorney General in the Trump administration. Hopefully, the rude Democrat logjam in the Senate will break up soon and allow this most honorable senator to advance to his next duty.

I will miss Sessions’ informative papers, critiques of legislation in list form and press releases from his office, revealing to concerned citizens what the US Senate was doing to their country, using immigration as a sledgehammer.

It speaks well of candidate Donald Trump that he recognized Jeff Sessions as a remarkable public servant.

Sessions’ many fans expect great things from him as America’s Attorney General.

Sessions Will Bring Record Fighting for All Americans to DOJ, Lifezette.com, By John Fonte, January 30, 2017

Nominee for attorney general has upended GOP norms by putting the people first

In the final centuries of the Roman Republic, two political forces struggled for power: the optimates (patricians or elites) and populares (plebeians or the majority of the citizens.) In ancient Rome and modern America, for the most part, elites (particularly corporate and financial) have traditionally been thought of as “special interests” associated with the political Right, as opposed to the bulk of the common people on the political Left. From the days of the “Gilded Age” in the late 19th century until very recently, the Republican Party has been labeled as the party of Big Business, corporations, the Chamber of Commerce, “special interests,” the rich, and so on. Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign in 2012 seemed to epitomize this familiar narrative.

The conventional wisdom was vigorously challenged during the congressional debate over “comprehensive immigration reform” in the spring and summer of 2013 by Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), President Donald Trump’s nominee for attorney general.

On July 29, 2013, Sen. Sessions sent a memo to all Republican members of Congress stating that the “GOP needs to flip the immigration debate on its head” and adopt “a humble and honest populism.” Sessions stated that the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) “confirms that the proposal [the 2013 “Gang of Eight” immigration bill] will reduce wages and increase unemployment. Low-income Americans will be hardest hit.” He noted that “immediate amnesty and a drastic surge in low-skill immigration” would hurt “working Americans of all backgrounds.” Sessions urged Republicans to say “no” to “certain business demands and powerful interests who shaped the immigration bill in the Senate. ”

Instead, immigration policy, Sessions insisted, with its “lasting social, economic, and moral implications” should serve the interests of the American people as a whole, not the “financial interest of a few CEOs.” Republicans should “make an unapologetic defense of working Americans” which would be both the right thing to do (“prevent the implementation of a disastrous policy”), and be politically effective (“begin a larger effort to broaden our appeal to working Americans of all backgrounds.”) Continue reading this article

America’s Senator Jeff Sessions Discusses Immigration Enforcement of Violent Illegal Aliens during His Attorney General Hearing

Crime victims of illegal aliens were a topic in the Tuesday hearing for Jeff Sessions’ appointment to be Attorney General in the Trump Administration. Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse brought up the case of Omaha constituent Sarah Root who was killed by an illegal alien just a day after she graduated from college. If that wasn’t bad enough, some local authorities allowed the drunk-driving Honduran Edwin Mejia to post bond and escape. The bond was just $50,000, meaning Mejia needed only 10 percent of that, $5000, to get out of jail and leave the country.

Below, illegal alien Edwin Mejia (left) killed Sarah Root, yet he could post bond even though he was clearly a flight risk.

The systemic lawlessness of the Obama regime has been a plague upon the land and the cause of many preventable deaths caused by illegal aliens. As Senator Jeff Sessions remarked in a hearing about crime victims of illegal aliens, “This administration has consistently and steadfastly placed the goal of amnesty above the goal of public safety.”

Crime victims of illegal aliens are important people to President-elect Trump also, who discussed them (including Sarah) in his acceptance speech and gave three parents a forum to speak at the GOP convention about the loss of their children.

Below, GOP convention attendees carried signs saying “Make America Safe Again!”

In Tuesday’s hearing, details of the conversation between Senators Sasse and Sessions illustrate what an unworkable mess immigration enforcement has become after eight years of its dismantling by Obama.

SENATOR BEN SASSE: Senator Sessions, I’d like to talk a little bit about the Sarah Root case: I know that you and I have discussed it briefly last summer. Sarah Root was woman who was killed a year ago this month in Omaha; she’d just graduated from college and she was killed by a drunken street racer. Omaha authorities believe that this guy had been engaged in similar activity many times in the past. He was an illegal immigrant, he ran into her car, killed her right after her graduation, he was detained by Omaha police, they ultimately notified the department of Homeland Security.

This guy is a flight risk — he was able to post a fairly insignificant bond and he disappeared. The Department of Homeland Security did nothing to detain the guy despite the fact that the Douglas County Sheriff and the Omaha Police Department asked that he be detained. The Obama administration determined that it wasn’t an enforcement priority. Continue reading this article

Pro-sovereignty Legislators Demand That Administration End Border Anarchy

As has been reported, there’s now a pre-election run on the border because foreigners from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe have heard that a Trump presidency will shut the open border and Hillary in command will bring a generous-to-them amnesty.

Meanwhile, border lawlessness is a magnet to dangerous foreigners from “special interest” countries which sponsor jihad terrorism. The jihad magazine Dabiq suggested last year that the faithful could smuggle a nuke into America over the porous border with the help of existing trafficking networks. Bill Gertz reported in August, “Sunni extremists are infiltrating the United States with the help of alien smugglers in South America and are crossing U.S. borders with ease, according to a U.S. South Command intelligence report.”

Jihadists may be bloodthirsty barbarians, but they aren’t stupid and recognize an opportunity when the American government offers one.

The great majority of crossers, however, are basic moochers from south of the border who sap stressed resources from citizens who need government services for education, healthcare and other assistance. Other Than Mexicans (OTMs) now comprise 70 percent to 75 percent of all border crossers.

To call the current program “catch and release” is too kind: “welcome and release” would be more accurate.

Below, Border Patrol agents in Arizona fulfill their new function of greeting illegal aliens.

How bad is the chaos? A Thursday report from Fox News was concise and factual:

WILLIAM La JEUNESSE: Our presidential race is literally having immigrants from around the world racing to the US-Mexican border. Both Clinton and Trump — their immigration rhetoric or policies — are providing the cartels a powerful narrative: Get over this fence while you still can. . .

That message prompted a new surge along the border —  a thousand arrested each night in South Texas alone.

America’s Senator Jeff Sessions posted a Critical Alert about the worsening chaos a few days ago. Now he and three others — Senator Chuck Grassley and Congressmen Bob Goodlatte and Trey Gowdy — have written to DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson to demand enforcement and an accounting from his department:

Full letter can be viewed here or below.

November 3, 2016

The Honorable Jeh Johnson, Secretary
Department of Homeland Security
Washington, DC 20528

Dear Secretary Johnson:

We write requesting that you take immediate action and mobilize all available resources of the Department to stop the ongoing surge of illegal immigration at the southwest border, which is overwhelming the Border Patrol and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Numerous media reports indicate that this surge is a large-scale effort to enter the United States before this year’s presidential election.  The onslaught of illegal immigration reflects continued efforts by aliens from Central America—El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala—to overwhelm our limited resources at the border, which inevitably results in the release of tens of thousands of removable aliens within the United States.  In addition, thousands of Haitians and Africans are amassing in the Mexican cities of Tijuana and Mexicali for the purpose of presenting themselves to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers asserting dubious claims of asylum, which will practically guarantee their entry.  This group of “Other Than Mexicans” at the southwest border comprises 70-75 percent of all border crossings.

The numbers are staggering.  In Fiscal Year (FY) 2016, the Border Patrol apprehended 408,870 illegal aliens at the southern border, 23 percent more than the preceding fiscal year.  Of those apprehended, more than 77,000 were members of so-called “family units,” which represents an increase of 95 percent over FY 2015 figures, and nearly 60,000 were unaccompanied alien minors, which reflects a 49 percent increase over the previous fiscal year.  On October 31, the Department of Health and Human Services reported that the daily referrals of unaccompanied illegal alien minors averaged 262 over the last week and approximately 237 in October.   By comparison, referrals averaged 148 per day in October of FY 2014, the year of the first surge, and 60 per day in October of FY 2015.  As of October 27, 2016, the number of minors in ORR care is approximately 10,700. America’s Senator Jeff Sessions Warns of Worsening Pre-Election Border Anarchy

There’s not much news coverage from the open borders in these days of political hysteria, but the occasional report does note the surge of illegals who fear a President Trump who has promised enforcement of America’s perimeter.

CBS reported last week about the Surge of migrants illegally crossing U.S.-Mexico border ahead of election. Nowadays the illegals claim asylum because of alleged crime at home. Honduran Brenda Aguilar knows the drill, reciting, “I am a single mother looking for work and also to flee the violence.”

Below, illegal aliens hop a train to cross America’s open southern border.

Breitbart News reported yesterday: Agents Accuse Feds of Covering Up Record Border Detainee Numbers for 2016 Election and also Immigration Officer: Border Deluge of Illegal Aliens ‘Is The Worst We’ve Ever Seen’.

Of course, Obama’s open borders attract not only moocher Third Worlders sapping our schools and economy, but also jihadists hoping to murder thousands of infidel Americans.

On Monday, America’s Senator Jeff Session posted one of his well documented reports on his website.

Situation at the Border Deteriorates Further: We Are Simply Overwhelmed”, October 31, 2016

CRITICAL ALERT

There is a crisis at our southwest border—one that in many ways exceeds the crisis we saw just two years ago, one that further undermines the integrity of our immigration system, but one that the most of the media has elected to ignore. The facts are clear:

  • Brandon Judd, President of the National Border Patrol Council recently said that “the talk of amnesty has once again created pull factors and encouraged people from all over the world to cross Mexico and then cross our porous southern border to illegally enter the U.S. We are simply overwhelmed.” An ICE officer in El Paso said “The administration’s policies have created the influx and the crisis situation because people overrun our border knowing they have a chance to stay,” the officer said. “The workload, the number of people, we’ve had to deal with has by far surpassed any amount we’ve ever had to handle before.”
  • Due to the surge in immigration at the southwest border, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is currently detaining more than 40,000 aliens, with internal predictions indicating that the number could reach 47,000 in the coming months. Without additional funding, it is likely that ICE will release many of those detained into the United States; many of whom will fail to appear in court have criminal histories and will never be heard from again.

America’s Senator Jeff Sessions: “It’s going to be a special night”

Any fear that Donald Trump’s long-awaited immigration policy speech would be based on a “softening” approach to enforcement were allayed by Senator Sessions during his warm-up remarks before the main event:

JEFF SESSIONS: “You’re going to hear the best laid out law enforcement plan to fix this country’s immigration system that’s been stated in this country, maybe forever! It is going to be so good you’re gonna be proud and pleased about that. . . It’s going to be a special night tonight.”

That’s high praise from America’s top sovereignty defender in Washington.

Curiously, Senator Sessions was actually booed by the Arizona audience when he enthused about John McCain’s victory against a primary opponent. Pro-sovereignty citizens naturally despise McCain for his support for amnesty. I chalk up Sessions’ unnecessary congratulations to McCain as a combination of Sessions’ deep politeness and the Senate group loyalty.

And as promised, Trump’s policy speech was filled with sensible strategies to return immigration to lawfulness. Read a transcript here.

Below, Trump and Sessions conferred in the Capitol last year. Senator Sessions was an early immigration policy advisor to Trump.

America’s Senator Jeff Sessions Defends Trump as Immigration Enforcer

Senator Sessions appeared on Fox News Sunday morning and for once he had an interviewer — Tucker Carlson — who is knowledgeable enough on the subject of immigration to have a decent conversation with the senator.

Below, Senator Sessions spoke at candidate Trump’s Mobile, Alabama, rally on August 21, 2015.

Unfortunately, Senator Sessions was too polite to call Trump’s touchback scheme what it is, namely just more lipstick on the amnesty pig, characterizing touchback as “not… the best solution.”

From a psychological viewpoint, rewarding illegal behavior is always wrong, and particularly so when it followed the failed amnesty from 1986 when the promised enforcement never happened. Even hinting that some sort of forgiveness might be considered after shutting the border is poison. Any reward for bad behavior just incites more of same — something that parents and teachers know.

On the other hand, Sessions was quite right to emphasize that globalized economy of outsourcing, excessive immigration and bad trade deals have been devastating for all working Americans. In earlier interviews, he has admitted that he voted for globalist trade deals because of the rosy promises, but quit when he figured out the claims were bogus.

In discussing how he came to endorse Trump, Sessions recalled last spring, “My view was: This excessive flow of immigration was impacted adversely the wages of the American people, which is a plain fact. I also concluded that the trade agreements weren’t working as promised, and [were] depreciating the wages, the manufacturing base, and the jobs of Americans, and they both needed to change, and he was out there.”

Importantly, Senator Sessions recognizes that immigration must be legal, controlled and reduced for the benefit of the American people. As the senator said, “The idea that you would bring in more workers to take jobs while Americans are unemployed, having to go on welfare, is ludicrous.”

In fact, the reduction of immigration should be severe, considering the increasing use of automation and software to do human jobs.

TUCKER CARLSON: So BuzzFeed which is a fashion blog that has a news component to it had a headline this morning saying in effect Donald Trump has changed course completely on immigration: he’s no longer for deportation. It was a story about a meeting he had the other day with Hispanic supporters of his. Is that true? Has he changed his view on deportation?

SENATOR JEFF SESSIONS: He has not changed his view but he had a great meeting with people who had different ideas and — I understand, I wasn’t there — but he had a good discussion, he listened to all the different views. Look. we need a lawful system of immigration. Trump is absolutely clear and correct on that. We must rein in the lawlessness first. We can’t talk about these other issues until that occurs. I think that remains his firm position.

CARLSON: So that anywhere between 10 to 12 million people here illegally whatever the number, Trump has suggested that they would be required to physically leave the United States, reapply in order to come back legally. Is that…

SESSIONS: I don’t know that he has formally said that he has discussed that, other people have discussed that. That’s the touchback idea. I’m not sure that’s the best solution to the problem, but it’s one solution.

CARLSON: What do you think is the best?

SESSIONS: I think we have to first end all the lawlessness. This can be done, Tucker. It’s very accomplishable with a strong president. A few laws would help, but actually you could do it with current laws, and that’s when you can begin to talk or more appropriately be honest about what you want to do with people who have been here a long time.

CARLSON: So what about legal immigration? We’ve got over a million low-wage low-skilled workers coming in every year into an economy that clearly can’t support them. Would Trump change that?

SESSIONS: We’ve got to consider that. Canada has a great system where they evaluate people: they apply, they rate them given points for things that are good for Canada. First and foremost, an immigration system should protect and serve the interests of the American people. We shouldn’t bring in people that can’t be vetted coming from areas of the world that are dangerous. We need to bring in people with higher skills. We should look for people who love America and value our values and want to be a part of that. People who learned English before they come should get a preference over people who can’t speak the language. So there’s so many rational things that absolutely need to be done as part of an immigration reform that I totally think this country is ready to discuss. Continue reading this article

America’s Senator Jeff Sessions Warns That Obama’s Syrian Refugee Program Endangers America

In his usual polite and scholarly way, Senator Sessions has laid out the case to condemn the President’s reckless (at best!) importation of unscreenable foreigners from the millennial enemy of western freedom — Islam. As the Senator notes, “Good public policy puts the safety and security of this country first,” and welcoming unknowable Syrian Muslims into our neighborhoods fundamentally violates that principal.

What could possibly go wrong with Obama’s scheme?

Preventable terror, suffering and death, for starters — as is happening now in Europe’s summer of terror, following Chancellor Merkel’s insane flinging open the continent’s borders and subsequent jihad invasion.

We should learn from Europe’s terrible immigration catastrophe, not ignore it.

Sessions: Refugee Terrorism Increases While Obama Increases Flow, August 10, 2016

WASHINGTON—U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), Chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration and The National Interest, issued the following statement today about the Obama Administration’s refugee policies, its temporary amnesty for Syrians in the United States, and dangers posed by admitting large numbers of refugees to the United States:

“Despite a clear nexus between immigration and terrorism, and warnings from top officials in his own Administration about their inability to properly vet refugees, President Obama remains in denial ‎about the dangers that his policies pose to the United States. Instead of taking a sober assessment of the ‎dangers that we face, and analyzing the immigration histories of recent terrorists so that we can more effectively safeguard our immigration system from being infiltrated, the Obama Administration leads the United States down a dangerous path – admitting as many refugees as possible from areas of the world where terrorists roam freely, and granting a temporary amnesty to Syrians living in the United States illegally. And contrary to the assertions made by many, the potential for future terror activity is real.

Our primary effort, and that of our allies, should be to provide support to those who are displaced as close to their homes as possible, and work to return them home as soon as possible. Of course, our foreign policy should always seek to avoid situations where such violence and chaos occur. But instead of pursuing these policies, the Obama Administration continues with its radical plans.

The 10,000 Syrian refugees his Administration will admit this Fiscal Year represent a nearly 500 percent increase over the roughly 1,600 Syrian refugees who were admitted last year. This radical increase places the safety and security of the American people at risk, there will surely be consequences.

Since September 11, 2001, we know that at least 40 individuals who were admitted to the United States as refugees have been convicted for, or implicated in, terrorism or terrorism-related offenses – and the total is likely much higher. Some were admitted as adults, others as children, but these cases refute the false assertion that those admitted to the United States as refugees never engage in terrorism. But because these facts do not fit within his worldview, President Obama rejects them. ‎And in so doing, he rejects his sacred oath for what he perceives as political gain.

Plainly, there is no way to properly vet these refugees. Our intelligence databases are only as good as the information that goes into them – meaning that the absence of derogatory information in our systems about an individual does not ‎mean that admitting that individual carries no risk. Nor do we have an effective method to screen refugees for the possibility of potential post-entry radicalization.

Good public policy puts the safety and security of this country first. There is no doubt that this continuous, dramatic increase in refugees from areas of the world where terrorists roam freely will endanger this nation. We must change course.”

Obama Unlawfully Greases the Skids for More Central American “Refugees”

“Refugee” status is a handy definitional redo for open-borders pols looking to dismantle sovereignty and undermine the nation. Central Americans are poor people looking for some free stuff and heard stupid-generous United States is still doling it out. We read via the MSM that they are escaping gang crime in the region, but previous immigration has lodged plenty of that throughout the US. And importing more Centrals will add to immigrant gangsters.

The dollar costs for education and social services have been enormous in towns where Hondurans, Salvadorans et al have alighted en masse, like Chelsea Massachusetts.

(Funny how this policy is being rolled out while the Opravda media is obsessed with the Democrat convention extravaganza.)

They keep coming — because Obama welcomes them.

Notice the scam explained by NPR below: the administration is going to “discourage people from leaving their homeland” by admitting them legally. That’s Obama’s idea of immigration enforcement.

Obama Opens Doors To More Central American Refugees, NPR, July 26, 2016

The Obama administration announced today that it is expanding a program that helps Central American refugees, including minors, to reunite with their families in the United States. The effort is designed to discourage people from leaving their homeland and flooding the southern U.S. border, say administration officials.

Now, for a more reality-based interpretation of the illegal policy from America’s Senator, Jeff Sessions:

Obama Administration Plans to Expand Already Unlawful Immigration Program, July 27, 2016

WASHINGTON—U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), Chairman of the Subcommittee on Immigration and The National Interest, issued the following statement on the Obama Administration’s unprecedented creation of an extra-legal chain migration system:

“The Obama Administration announced plans yesterday to expand an already unlawful program by setting up an extra-legal chain migration system for certain immigrants in the U.S. – including illegal aliens. The Immigration and Nationality Act sets forth very specific requirements and procedures through which family members may immigrate to this country, and many thousands abide by those laws and wait in line every year to do so. Now, with the stroke of a pen, the Obama Administration intends to circumvent statutory law at the behest of the open-borders lobbyists and extremists within the Democratic Party. This will only encourage more lawlessness, exacerbate the current situation at our border, and erode public confidence in the integrity of our immigration system. So, too, will irresponsible calls for universal amnesty undermine the system’s proper operation. Continue reading this article
