CIS Panel: Foreign Students and National Security

It’s helpful that the Center for Immigration Studies has dug into the problem of excessive foreign students attending US colleges. The practice a scam that has directly harmed young Americans for years by reducing the number of college slots available while the population of students keeps growing.

Plus, state universities prefer the full tuition that […]

Fewer Foreign Students Attend US Colleges

The Associated Press reports that fewer foreigners are coming to the US to attend college, and the news organization apparently regards the decrease as a negative thing. Certainly many Californians would see having fewer foreign students on campus as a big plus, especially if there were also fewer out-of-staters — both groups that must pay […]

University of California Hid $175 Million in Secret Funds, According to Auditor

It’s a pretty big scandal in California that an audit published Tuesday showed the President of the University Janet Napolitano had accumulated a secret slush fund of $175 million. Napolitano’s office responded that no, the amount of UC cash hidden from regents and state officials is only $38 million.

What’s particularly shocking is how […]

USC Increases Diversity Funding to $100 Million

In 2012, I reported about UC Berkeley’s office of diversity having a budget of $17 million because it seemed stunningly excessive, but they are pikers compared to the University of Southern California.

Now USC at least has the excuse of being a private university so taxpayers were not dinged by this monumental stupidity. Perhaps when […]

California Auditor Slams Universities for Favoring Non-Residents by Lowering Standards

The Golden State has been shirking its responsibility to educate young Californians by increasingly relying on non-residents’ higher tuition to keep the university budgets flush. All the major newspapers had front page stories on Wednesday about the State Auditor’s report finding admission standards were lowered for non-residents which kept out better qualified Californians. Auditor Elaine […]

Illegal Alien Che Fanboy “Scrambles” for Cash While Attending UC Berkeley

Boo hoo, a poor illegal alien student at UC Berkeley has to spend his time scrounging money and mooching chow at the local food bank.

It’s another sob story from the ultra-lib San Francisco Chronicle, that has never met a freeloader illegal alien it didn’t like. It ignores the fact that any university slot taken […]
