President Biden’s proposed immigration legislation is beyond extreme in its intent — Miller reports that if passed, it would crush America’s fundamental powers as a nation, namely to control who enters the country. Biden’s borders will melt into nothing as idealized by globalists, transforming citizens into powerless serfs.
Former Trump economist Peter Navarro predicts that more than a million illegal aliens will cross the border in 2021. Obama DHS official Julliette Kayyam has the same numerical estimate.
Most of the foreigners hope to steal American jobs by working extra cheap and avail themselves of generous social services, but there’s nothing to stop enemies from entering among the hordes. ]]>MARIA BARTIROMO: A new border crisis is afoot with congressional Democrats unveiling an ambitious immigration reform bill on Friday that would extend amnesty and citizenship to nearly 20 million illegal immigrants, a population five times the size of Los Angeles. This legislation comes hot on the heels of president Biden’s sweeping executive orders to erase president Trump’s border legacy. Stephen Miller was a senior adviser to President Trump and the architect of the administration’s immigration plan; he joins us this morning.
Stephen it’s great to have you. Let me just point out that you have studied immigration issues for more than a decade. I remember years ago you were a congressional staffer in the House, then you moved over to the Senate. You were studying and working on immigration issues in the Senate before joining President Donald Trump. so give us your expert opinion and assessment of President Biden’s new immigration bill.
STEPHEN MILLER: Thank you, and the reason why I’ve studied immigration so closely is because it’s so fundamental to what it is to be a nation, the right of the people living in a country to decide who enters that country, on what conditions, for how long and how to establish national boundaries and borders. That’s fundamental to what it means to be a country.
The legislation put forward by President Biden and congressional Democrats would fundamentally erase the very essence of America’s nationhood. For the first time I believe in human history, this legislation proposes sending applications to previously deported illegal immigrants and giving them the chance to re-enter the country on a rapid path to citizenship — this is unheard of.
These would be people that ICE officers, at great time and expense, found large numbers of them with criminal records returned to their home countries at taxpayer expense. And now we’re going to have the Secretary of State and Homeland Security mailing applications for readmission and amnesty to previously deported illegal immigrants?
This is madness. Now this is on top of the fact that the current administration has already dismantled border security, canceling President Trump’s historic agreements with Mexico and with the northern triangle countries, restoring catch and release and additionally gutting interior enforcement issuing a memo preventing ICE from removing the vast majority of criminal illegal immigrants that it encounters.
And the last thing I’ll say about that memo is that they have engaged in a fraudulent representation to the court in the Texas litigation because they are claiming this is a resources issue. I know for a fact that ICE has the resources to remove these public safety threats. This is a policy choice disguised falsely to the court and to the country as a resource issue. That is a lie, and it’s a lie that threatens public safety.
BARTIROMO: Wow, and I know that the ICE, Border Patrol men and women are now being told that they have to get authority to make any moves. They need authority from above before detaining anyone.
I spoke with Mark Morgan, the former head of Customs, Border Patrol, and he told me that we are averaging 3500 apprehensions every day, and then another 500 turnbacks. So you’re talking about 4000 people coming to our border areas every day. Let’s take a look at this map because we have a map showing all of the the most porous areas pretty much, and as we zero in on this map we see Texas as well as California and the Rio Grande area. This is the area, the Rio Grande river that is most vulnerable.
I actually took the show to El Paso and witnessed people coming across then. I wanted to mention this because this is one of those pocketbook issues where it impacts people’s families and their lives. You can talk about it as a headline immigration bill, but when you zero in on what this means with 4000 illegals coming in every day, you really get a sense of how this impacts the American families. Walk us through it. Tell us what’s motivational.
MILLER: I’ll give you a simple example. So right now under the current administration, they are failing to abide by the CDC guidance and they are processing for entry and release 100 percent of illegal immigrants under the age of 18. In other words, any illegal alien 17 or younger who is smuggled to the border or trafficked to the border is being processed for admission through Health and Human Services and then resettlement in the country. So ask yourself — who is going to pay for the education? What does it mean when classrooms — god willing — reopen? What does it mean for classroom size? What does it mean for healthcare? Then you add on top of that, the families that are being released — who’s paying for the medical bills? Who’s paying for the health care costs?
You know you pay with your local property taxes in many cases and your sales tax and many other forms of local tax on your rent, on everything that you do in your life, and one way or another you’re paying for those local services. So when people show up illegally, having never lived here a day in their lives, that’s coming out of your pocketbook.
And it’s a public safety issue. As I mentioned, ICE is now disallowed from removing the vast majority of illegal immigrants with criminal records. So, whether you’re in Louisiana, or whether you’re in Arkansas, whether you’re in Montana, whether in New York state, illegal immigrants are being re-released into the community who have already committed crimes, and we know there’s a high recidivism rate. That’s going to cost lives. That’s a public safety calamity in real time happening now. This is not theoretical.
And then you add an amnesty bill on top of that, if you give low-skilled illegal immigrants a path to citizenship, that will mean a net fiscal transfer of trillions of dollars long term to pay for social security, to pay for medical care, to pay for medicaid, to pay for state and local services. This an extraordinary expense to give that to 20 million illegal immigrants.
BARTIROMO: Yeah, there’s a good piece in the LA Times that I want to point out because under President Biden’s direction border, officials on Friday began processing the first of an estimated 26,000 people who have pending cases in the United States. They’ve reversed the asylum system as you say. those people who were waiting in Mexico now they will be in the United States. it radically alters the asylum system and it was actually one of your administration, President Trump’s administration’s most popular and successful parts of the immigration plan.
MILLER: President Trump secured the southern border through his deals with Mexico, through his deals with El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and others. We were able to ensure that if you were apprehended illegally, you were safely and humanely returned home. This was a game changer. President Biden hasn’t only failed in his duty to protect American citizens — he has went out of his way to privilege illegal immigrants over American citizens. So when your kids can’t go to school, when your spouse or you have been laid off because of covid-related shutdowns, 200 countries in the world can send their illegal immigrants to our border without masks, without vaccines, without healthcare, without any rules at all. How is that fair? How is that just? How is that moral? How is that right? it’s not.
BARTIROMO: Well, it’s horrible to think that our schools are closed, but the border is wide open. This is the reason that Texas, the state of Texas is suing, and we had the AG, the attorney general of Texas Ken Paxton on this program last week. Listen to what he had to say — got to get your reaction.
TEXAS ATTORNEY GENERAL KEN PAXTON: These were laws put in place by elected representatives, basically requiring that if you come here illegally and you’re caught, that you’d be deported, and he basically said no we’re not going to do that anymore. The border is open, you can stay, and we’re not going to deport you, and you can see what’s happening. We’re having people come in from other countries, up through Central America. They believe that he has opened the border for them, and I think most Americans believe that he’s opened the border. That’s not just a change in policy, that’s a change in law, and if he wants to do that, seems to me that he could go back to Congress and get pretty much what he wants.
BARTIROMO: Stephen Miller, your reaction…
MILLER: The attorney general of Texas is 100 percent right. This is a fundamental constitutional issue — does the president of the United States have the authority to suspend law at will? Because if he does, it’s not just immigration, then President Biden can rewrite every federal law to his liking. He does not need Congress at that point in time. He would assume the powers, not of a president, but of a king. That’s why it’s so important this legislation, that this executive action, I’m sorry, be stopped in court because this can only be done legislatively, and I would submit to you a bill sent to Congress to release criminal aliens in mass would never ever have a chance of becoming law which is why this was done by executive action.
BARTIROMO: Yeah unbelievable. Real quick, Stephen, have you spoken with President Trump? There are reports that he is perhaps thinking about running again in 2024, perhaps with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. We also know that the president will make his first public appearance this upcoming week at CPAC. What are your thoughts on President Trump right now?
MILLER: Yes well I have had the opportunity to speak to the president, and he’s very excited to make his upcoming address to CPAC where you will hear him lay out his positive vision for the future of this country — a vision where we stand up to China as the president was doing before he left office and reclaim our manufacturing, a vision where our schools are open and our border is closed to illegal immigration, a vision where the big tech monopoly is dismantled and free speech and free expression and free thought can reign because that’s what this country is about. He’s going to present an optimistic vision for a country where communities are safe, where criminals are behind bars and where everybody can earn a decent high paying wage and produce products here in the United States where they should be made — not in China, not overseas.
BARTIROMO: I’m really glad you mentioned the cancel culture situation because that continues to deepen and is a serious problem. ]]>TRACE GALLEGHER: The case was initially assigned by the Department of Justice to an FBI agent: now Democratic Congresswoman Ilan Omar is reportedly also being looked at by Customs and Immigration Enforcement or ICE and the Inspector General for the Department of Education.
The Blaze is reporting the allegations include perjury, immigration fraud, tax fraud, student loan fraud and possibly bigamy. The investigation is focused on Omar’s 2009 marriage to Ahmed Nur Said Elmi who Judicial Watch claims is her biological brother that she married to skirt immigration laws.
And now there’s allegations the marriage might also have been used to obtain illegal student loans and that while she was married to Said Elmi, Omar allegedly filed illegal joint tax returns with Ahmed Hirsi. He’s the father of her three children who she religiously married in 2002, separated from in 2008, then legally married him in 2018 before legally divorcing him.
Omar calls the allegations baseless yet refuses and has four months to answer questions or turn over any documents, though soon she may be compelled to turn over those documents and answer questions.
California is particularly guilty of protecting illegal foreigners and allowing citizens to be in the line of fire. Kate Steinle (pictured below) became one of the best known when she was shot down on a San Francisco pier while strolling with her father. The shooter was an illegal Mexican who had been released by the sanctuary city despite having been deported five times.
Other victims of sanctuary policies include Bambi Larson, three members of the Bologna family, Sacramento County Deputy Danny Oliver and Placer County Detective Michael David Davis Jr. and numerous others.
Typically for the sanctuary mindset, the perp in the current case failed to show up for a deportation hearing, but the Fairfax police released him like there was nothing wrong.
Protecting public safety is no longer the most important job of police, it seems. Instead, dangerous foreign lawbreakers are allow to roam the streets at will to do whatever they want.
]]>TUCKER CARLSON: A police officer in the Commonwealth of Virginia has been suspended from his job. What did he do wrong? He helped the federal government enforce the law.

TRACE GALLEGHER: Hey, Tucker. A driver who was involved in an accident did not have a driver’s license, so the responding Fairfax police officer followed standard operating procedure and ran him through the DMV database to look for things like criminal behavior. Well, turns out the driver failed to show up for a deportation hearing, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement had issued an immigration warrant. So at this point the suspect had committed at least two violations. The officer verified the warrant, notified the ICE agent listed as the contact and held the man until the agent arrived.
But Fairfax County Police Chief Edwin Roessler said the officer deprived the man of his freedom, quoting here: “We have trained on this issue a lot; this is the first time we’ve had a lapse in judgment, and the officer is being punished.”
In fact, as you said, the officer was suspended.

TOM HOMAN: This world is upside down when those who illegally enter the country in violation of law, who knowingly violate our law, all of a sudden they are the victims, and the ones that enforce law are the bad guys.
GALLEGHER: But since 2007, Fairfax County, Virginia, has barred police officers from confirming anyone’s immigration status. Those accused of crimes are booked into jails, and then their immigration status is checked, but they still won’t cooperate with ICE, so the point is moot. By the way the driver who was held was released a few hours later with an ankle monitor. Tucker.

California is arguably the worst, as a sanctuary state that has had many crimes committed by illegal aliens against US citizens — deaths like three members of the Bologna family, 32-year-old Kate Steinle, Officer Ronil Singh, and Sacramento County Deputy Danny Oliver and Placer County Detective Michael David Davis Jr., among many others. With so many preventable deaths, you might think that California would pay more attention to public safety, but Sacramento prefers diverse criminals to law-abiding citizens.

Fox News correspondent Griff Jenkins followed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in Los Angeles, a sanctuary city, as they pursued criminal aliens and detailed the difficulties of making such apprehensions.
“If you had a criminal warrant from a judge on a specific person, you could go forcibly in, but ICE cannot. They’re abiding by the law,” Jenkins explained Thursday on “Fox & Friends.”
At one stop, ICE agents could see the suspect inside, but could not forcibly enter, having to wait for the owner of the property to allow them inside.
“[It] speaks to the difficulty that ICE has in trying to make these apprehensions,” Jenkins said.
An ICE agent told Jenkins that the criminal alien had been convicted of multiple crimes and had a detainer placed on him on August 9, though it was not honored by local law enforcement and he was released.
“It’s been extremely disappointing to us in federal law enforcement,” the ICE agent said. (Continues)

GUATEMALA CITY — About 45 minutes before descent, the guards went up and down the aisle unshackling the passengers, and the mood in the cabin began to lighten. A mother with a boy near the front was still crying, but they were the only family aboard the flight. Nearly all the other 93 deportees were men, and they began joking and talking excitedly.
Soon Guatemalan territory appeared below, misty and green. A cheer rose.
“You see? They’re smiling!” said Matt Albence, the acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, who spends a great deal of time defending his agency’s core functions, including this: a one-way trip out of the United States on ICE Air. “This is probably better than some of the commercial flights I fly on.”
It was Albence’s first visit to Guatemala, the country that has surpassed Mexico as the largest source of unauthorized migration to the United States. ICE Air, the agency’s charter airline, was bringing two planeloads of people to Guatemala on Thursday. The Trump administration has big plans to increase that.
President Trump has pledged to expel “millions” of immigration violators, a goal that wildly exceeds the government’s abilities and the seating capacity of its aging 737s. The reality is that Trump is losing on the ground: Since the start of the 2019 fiscal year in October, ICE has deported about 50,000 Guatemalans, but nearly five times as many illegally crossed the border into the United States during that time, leading to a record influx of families and children.
In its efforts to deter Central American migrants, the Trump administration reached an accord with the Guatemalan government last month that will allow the United States to begin sending planeloads of Honduran and Salvadoran asylum seekers here, in addition to Guatemalan deportees. The country has a presidential runoff vote Sunday, and both candidates have criticized the deal, which will require approval by Guatemala’s congress. Trump has threatened to wreck the struggling nation’s economy with tariffs and taxes if he is not appeased.
ICE sends about nine flights per week to Guatemala. Its government has agreed to accept up to 20, with 135 passengers each, potentially turning the country into a kind of reverse Ellis Island — a repository, far from the U.S. border, for those the United States has rejected.
Albence, a longtime ICE official, said he wanted to see the process firsthand, and he had never been to Central America’s Northern Triangle region. The day before, ICE had raided seven poultry and food plants in Mississippi, arresting 680 workers, the agency’s largest workplace sting in more than a decade. Nearly 400 of those arrested are from Guatemala.
Despite the scenes of anguished children without their parents in Mississippi, Albence called it a “textbook operation.” No one was injured, and nothing had leaked out in advance. Authorities said many families were reunited once parents were processed and issued court summonses. But some children were left alone, and ICE did not coordinate with state and local child-welfare providers.
“Our job is to enforce the law,” said Albence, who is popular at the White House and within his agency for his tough-cop demeanor and uncomplicated, unsentimental view of the job. “It’s up to Congress to make the laws or change the laws.” (Continues)

About 300 of the 680 illegal aliens arrested by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency at Mississippi food processing plants on Wednesday were released the same day on “humanitarian grounds,” officials confirm.
This week, ICE raided seven food processing plants across Mississippi, arresting a total of 680 illegal workers in the largest single-state operation in United States history and the largest workplace enforcement raid in 11 years, Breitbart News reported.
The same day, though, the Department of Justice (DOJ) and ICE confirmed that about 300 illegal workers were released back into the U.S. on “humanitarian grounds.” The Clarion Ledger first reported their release.
ICE spokesman Bryan Cox confirmed to Breitbart News that the 300 illegal workers released “were placed into removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts and will have a court date at a future time.”
In a news release, law enforcement officials said ICE agents “concluded their processing of detained aliens last night and followed their procedures by releasing many on humanitarian grounds.”
Specifically, roughly 30 of the illegal workers arrested by ICE were released on humanitarian grounds while an additional 270 illegal workers were released after being processed by federal officials with the expectation that they will return to immigration court.
All of the illegal workers were asked whether they have children in schools or childcare services that needed to be picked up and were allowed to call family members, friends, and relatives to arrange pick ups for their children. ICE officials said officers worked directly with local Mississippi school districts to ensure children were cared for.

More than that, the Democrat shriek-out over a lawful action to remove aliens has demonstrated how little Dems care about Americans’ safety and quality of life. The presence of many millions of illegal aliens has brought more crime, decreased quality of education and lowered wages for citizen workers.
The truth is, Democrats have now outed themselves as preferring foreigners over American citizens. Hopefully voters will remember in 2020.

]]>TUCKER CARLSON: After several weeks of delay, this weekend, starting tomorrow, the Trump administration is planning to do something that it ran on back in 2016, enforcing the immigration laws of this country.
ICE is expected to launch raids in several American sanctuary cities. It’ll be seeking people who’ve received final orders of removal from this country, from a court.
According to the President, most of these people have already been convicted of other more serious crimes.
PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: It’s not something I like doing, but people have come into our country illegally. We’re focused on criminals. We are focused on — if you look at MS-13. But when people come into our country, we take those people out and we take them out very legally. They all have papers, and it’s a process and I have an obligation to do it.
CARLSON: Now, the Democratic Party has been committed to keeping the borders open for — well, really all of Donald Trump’s presidency so far — but they usually hide their intentions at least a little bit. They’ll say that people deserve their day in court first or they will argue that only criminals ought to be deported.
But this case is unambiguous. Every person being targeted by ICE starting this weekend has already received a final order for removal. In other words, they’ve had their day in court. They’re not being held in ICE facilities at the border. Many of them have criminal convictions.
At this point, it’s a simple matter of enforcing America’s laws. Bill Clinton did it. Barack Obama did it. But that was before. So these Democrats have made their decision. American laws do not matter. Nobody should be deported, ever.
BETO O’ROURKE: These massive raids and internal enforcement operations, they are going to separate potentially thousands of families, many of whom have committed no crime against this country, pose no threat to the United States of America.
REP. OCASIO-CORTEZ: I’d hope that we can come together as a party and stand up against what should be seen, I think universally as a cruel regime.
SEN. RICHARD BLUMENTHAL: Innocent people who may be swept up and arrested in massive raids across the country.
MAYOR PETE BUTTIGIEG: If rumors start going on about raids, let alone if it starts actually happening, it immediately makes the community less safe.
SEN. CORY BOOKER: We could be using these law enforcement resources to really go after the folks that are a real threat to our communities. This is all kinds of wrong, and we’re better country than this.
SPEAKER NANCY PELOSI: Families belong together. Every person in America has rights.
SEN. KAMALA HARRIS: And so he is going to create, as he often does, this distraction. I agree with you — and do these raids, which is — it is a crime against humanity.
CARLSON: Telling people who’ve been told by a court, by a judge, they must legally leave the country, enforcing that is a crime against humanity, says Kamala Harris.
Hillary Clinton meanwhile, piped up from retirement or whatever she’s doing these days. The same woman who claims that Russian Facebook trolls are a threat to democracy, decided to actively assist smuggling people into this country.
She posted a guide to evading ICE on Twitter, and added “Por pavor comparte,” that’s “Please share” in Spanish.
In the State of California meanwhile, Governor Gavin Newsom has released an instructional video informing his States’ criminals on how they can avoid law enforcement. Watch.
GOV. GAVIN NEWSOM: I just want to say to folks that are anxious about a knock on the door, when we talk about knowing your rights, no abras la puerta. Without a warrant, you don’t have to open the door. Without a warrant, you do not have to open the door.
CARLSON: So picture a Republican Governor making a video used with taxpayer money telling voters how to — I don’t know — cheat on their taxes or how to buy illegal guns. What would the reaction be? Well, CNN of course, will call for them to be imprisoned. But it wouldn’t, because they care about the law, obviously, Republicans do.
On the left, a new reality is now explicit. Our laws and our Constitution are only valid if they’re in accord with current Democratic Party talking points. Otherwise, you can ignore them.
Buck Sexton is the host of “The Buck Sexton Show” and he joins us tonight. So Buck, you know, you hate to be continuously outraged over the same story. But every week, it seems to get crazier and crazier. And now we have lawmakers calling enforcement of the law a crime against humanity. Where does this end?
BUCK SEXTON: There’s a momentum to the insanity at this point, Tucker.
It’s quite clear that they are engaged in mass nullification of immigration law, that that is what is happening now. At any stage of the process, whether it’s in sanctuary cities, we’re talking about enforcement for people with final deportation orders. And this is all part of the con.
Initially, there were no caravans, and there was not going to be any problem, no crisis to the border. And then it was okay, there’s a lot of people at the border, but we just have to let people go through their process. And if they don’t get to stay after that, we promise we’ll be okay with them being sent home. And now we know that that was a lie all along, too.
They keep telling lies about this. And they’re honestly running out of room at this point. And that’s what — we’re facing nullification. And by the way, when you put up those lists, they’re getting very close to violating another statute over immigration — I’m sure they wouldn’t care – – which is aiding and abetting.
You can’t actually harbor illegal immigrants. You can’t actually employ illegal immigrants. There are all kinds of laws out there and some of these Democrats seem to think that they should do whatever they can to obstruct law enforcement efforts. They want to talk about danger to the public? This is dangerous.
CARLSON: It’s crazy. But it’s also unfair on one level, I mean, so they’re telling foreign nationals they don’t have to abide by American law. They can ignore our laws, but they’re telling me that I have to follow every American law. And if I step outside the bounds of those laws, I go to jail. It’s like, why am I paying my taxes? Sincerely? Why can’t I buy a silencer? Why am I paying attention to all these laws, when they’re telling residents of Guatemala and Honduras like they don’t have to follow the law? I’m not kidding.
SEXTON: There’s so much illegality that actually gets piled up when you look at the real statutes. It’s against the law to lie to federal officers at the border about what you’re fleeing. It’s against the law to lie about your age. It’s against the law to have a fake Social Security card. It’s against — you go down the list. It’s against the law to engage in document fraud.
There is an entire subset of U.S. Federal Law that is being violated all the time with impunity, and people seem to think on the Democratic side they can just ignore all of this.
CARLSON: At some point, somebody is going to make a defense in court along those lines. Like these people don’t have to follow the law. Why should I? That’s when things really will start to fall apart.
SEXTON: I wish the Democrats would just be honest about what they want. If no one should get deported, if nobody should have immigration law enforced against them, the people like AOC, the legislative body in charge of these laws, they should just say, “We want to be open borders.” Stop pretending that’s not what they want. It is so clearly is.

On Sunday, the Washington Post cranked up its Terrorized Migrant meme to the max, with adjectives galore in the face of approaching lawful deportations. The front page featured a scary headline in the upper right corner (shown) although the huge California earthquake got the central photo.
An uninformed reader might think that President Trump is a meanie racist who hates foreigners, judging from the overwrought verbiage more suitable to a tabloid than the capitol city newspaper.
In fact, the deportees have gone through all the court proceedings and have been found to require removal. Presumably, the aliens will choose to take their kids along home which would be natural, though the Post worried a lot about Families and The Children.

President Trump said his administration will move forward “fairly soon” with a plan to arrest thousands of migrant families in surprise roundups across major U.S. cities, with the two-week deadline he imposed on Democrats coming up on Saturday.
Trump tipped off the mass arrests in a June 17 tweet, vowing “millions” of deportations, but called them off five days later. The president tweeted that he delayed the raids for two weeks at Democrats’ request, “to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border.”
“If not,” he wrote, “Deportations start!”
Trump’s threats have left immigrants living in the United States illegally in a fog of dread, putting neighborhoods on edge and making residents fear venturing outside.
Eva, who works at a plant nursery in Homestead, Fla., said she has stopped going to the park and makes trips to the grocery store every few weeks.
“I don’t know when I leave in the morning if I’ll come home in the night,” said Eva, who arrived illegally 19 years ago from Mexico and whose teen daughter is a U.S. citizen.
“They could come and get me at any time,” she said, asking for her last name to be withheld for fear it could help ICE find her. (Continues)
Below, the United States cannot be the Welfare/Employment Office to the World, so deportations must go forward. Foreigners need to stay home and fix their own countries because billions cannot come here.
Meanwhile, the new acting director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Ken Cuccinelli was doing the rounds of the Sunday shows with a lot more facts. He appeared on CBS’ Face the Nation and the 12-minute discussion was surprisingly rational.

KEN CUCCINELLI: Well, essentially at this point it’s been put in Matt Albence’s hand, the acting director at ICE. He’s a career ICE officer, came up through the ranks and they’re ready to just perform their mission which is to go and find and detain and then deport the approximately one million people who have final removal orders. They’ve been all the way through the due process and have final removal orders. Who among those will be targeted for this particular effort, or not, is really just information kept within ICE at this point.
BRENNAN: So there had been reports that this would be just in the thousands. You’re saying the roundups will be far larger scale.
CUCCINELLI: No, no I’m just pointing out that the pool of those with final removal orders is enormous. And, it’s important to note, here we are talking about ICE doing its job as if it’s special. And really this should be going on on a rolling basis for ICE and they’ve been interfered with effectively and held up by the politics of Washington to a certain extent and they’re looking forward to just getting back to doing their job.
BRENNAN: Well, the Trump administration has deported far fewer people than the Obama administration had.
CUCCINELLI: Thus far. Thus far, that’s right. Well, and of course ICE has been, for much of the Trump Administration, has been swamped with — they’re in the second stage of the border crisis. We focus so much on the Border Patrol. But the reason you see overcrowding in those facilities is because they can’t be moved to the facilities where they were expected to go and those are ICE facilities because the ICE facilities themselves are over capacity. So the whole pipeline is clogged and ICE is backing up the Border Patrol in the southwest border.
Morgan sounds determined to make a difference, but the numbers are daunting. The Washington Post reported recently that in the last seven months “Nearly 169,000 youths have surrendered at the southern border.” In March and April, the total number per month exceeded 100,000.
These days, kids are a guaranteed ticket to the freebies in the USA, so some adults just rent if they don’t have one of their own.
Plus, a top necessity for the Border Patrol is to return to its job of sovereignty enforcement rather than social work toward invaders. When the Laura Ingraham show visited the border in early May, it was clear that the Border Patrol’s absurdly kind treatment toward lawbreaking foreigners actually incentivized the invasive behavior. Why would any sane person wait years in line to immigrate to the United States in the current permissive environment?
]]>TUCKER CARLSON: Well, if Washington finally decides to fix the country’s immigration problem, Mark Morgan will be at the very heart of that. You’ve known from this show. He has been a frequent guest. We’ve been happy to have him every time he’s been on. And he is now the President’s new pick to run ICE.
Mark Morgan joins us tonight for his first interview since starting the job. Mr. Morgan, thank you very much. First of all, congratulations on the new job.
ICE DIRECTOR MARK MORGAN: Thank you.
CARLSON: And thanks for joining us. What are your priorities?
MORGAN: Well, first and foremost, I think anyone in this position is to make sure that I’m going to be a relentless advocate for the men and women of ICE to get the tools necessary to do their job.
And part of what that means also is getting out here doing what I’m doing right now to educate the American people exactly what the hardworking men and women of ICE do every day, to safeguard the security of this country and enforce the rule of law, and also working with Congress.
But here’s the problem with that, Tucker. Congress has clearly showed its inability to do what they know they need to do to fix this crisis. And I’ve been on here many times and saying they could do several things within the legal framework. They could fix this in 15 minutes.
So although I’m going to continue to work tirelessly with Congress to try to get them to do their job, I don’t have hope that they’re going to. So we need to continue to come up with innovative ideas within the legal framework where we can to stop this problem.
CARLSON: Well, they’ve completely politicized your agency completely.
MORGAN: Absolutely.
CARLSON: We’re moving into the heat of an election season. A number of the candidates have called for getting rid of ICE completely, have compared you to the Nazis.
MORGAN: Absolutely.
CARLSON: Really over the top stuff. So given your expectation that they’re not going to help at all, what can you do?
MORGAN: So I’ll give you an example right now. So ICE actually have three major components that the American people and unfortunately, I think a lot of Congress don’t even realize. So they have the ERO side. That’s the Enforcement Removal Operations that deports people.
They also have an incredible team of lawyers. That’s an integral part of the overall immigration process that’s absolutely needed. And then the last part of ICE is HSI — Homeland Security Investigations.
And I’ll give you an example. So those three major components make up ICE.
HSI, for example, what we’ve done is we’ve taken about 150, highly trained, experienced, HSI agents, and we push them towards the border. And what they’re doing is they’re looking at child exploitation. They’re looking at those individuals who are grabbing — renting the kid, right, and we called this, Tucker. We knew this was going to happen, and it is.
They are renting kids. They’re paying to rent somebody’s kid and then fake themselves as a family, and right now between — and we’ve infused the DNA testing that we’ve talked about in the past, so between their investigative skills and the DNA testing right now in the pilot program, they’re finding 25 percent of the so-called families come across — absolutely fake and fraudulent.
Just the other day, they caught a 51-year-old man from Honduras, guess who he had with him as a family? A six-month-old. And because of work at HSI. They found that to be completely false. That’s the kind of stuff that we’re doing and we need to continue to do.
CARLSON: What would happen if we got rid of ICE?
MORGAN: Exactly. So right now, ICE on the ERO side, this year so far, just the first quarter, 66,000 individuals have been deported. Of the arrests that they’ve made, 65 percent of those arrests were actually people with additional criminal convictions.
Ninety percent of those either had a criminal conviction or a pending charge. You get rid of ICE, think about that. So 66,000 not deported. You have just an incredible amount of people who are doing bad things that are going to remain in the United States.
On the HSI component. Last year alone, 34,000 arrests, Tucker — 34,000 criminal arrests. Four thousand, five thousand gangs, human trafficking cases, child exploitation cases, 1.2 billion in currency they seized, and the list goes on and on and on.
So when you have somebody that puts out the reckless, irresponsible rhetoric about ICE being abolished, that’s what’s going to happen. This country will absolutely be less safe because of that.
CARLSON: It’s demented. And I don’t think there’s any popular support for it. I’ve never seen a poll that says most voters, “Yes, let’s get rid of ICE Good idea.”
MORGAN: Absolutely.
CARLSON: Get rid of the FBI along with it.
MORGAN: Right.
CARLSON: So quickly, if Congress is just in a dream world was willing to help you, if Democrats were on the same page in protecting America’s borders — what’s the first thing you would ask them for?
MORGAN: Two things, they have to adjust the legal framework. Right now, there’s two major things. They have to fix the Flores Settlement Agreement, which mandates you can’t hold a family more than 20 days, then plus TVPRA, and that’s the Child Trafficking Protection Act, right?
That says that if you’re from Mexico or Canada, we get to send you back. But if you’re from the northern triangle countries, we can’t. Those two things equal catch and release. Congress can fix those two things in 15 minutes. The second thing is they absolutely need to continue to increase the funding for ICE specifically on the detention bed space. It’s just common, it’s common sense, Tucker.
CARLSON: They don’t care. But you do care and I don’t know a single person who disagrees. You were the right man for this job. And thank you for joining us tonight.

Woman arrested for assaulting man wearing MAGA hat on Cape Cod, Boston 25 News, Updated: February 25, 2019
FALMOUTH, Mass. – A woman on Cape Cod is facing charges for assaulting a man wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.
Rosiane Santos, 41, of Falmouth was charged with disorderly conduct and assault and battery.
Santos told police she was upset the man was wearing the hat in a Mexican restaurant.
The man wearing the hat, 23-year-old Bryton Turner of Mashpee, was so annoyed with the woman’s antics that he pulled out his phone and started recording her.
The incident occurred last Friday at the “Casa Vallarta” Mexican restaurant in Falmouth.
Turner says he was minding his own business, when Santos started yelling at him because of his hat, which bears the theme that President Donald Trump campaigned on.
The woman is seen walking behind him and hitting his hat off his head. . . .
Bryton Turner filmed the Brazilian’s hostility with his cell phone, shown below.
As it happens, the battering Brazilian Rosiane Santos turned out to be an illegal alien, and she is now in ICE custody with deportation being planned.
Unsurprisingly, the perp claimed to be the victim, remarking, “He’s not a victim. I am the victim. I have been bullied, OK?”
So Santos apparently assimilated to America’s current victimhood culture while ignoring the nation’s historic freedom of expression — like wearing the political hat of your choice.

Finally, a story about a hate crime involving a MAGA hat that has a happy ending.
The woman who was arrested in Falmouth on Feb. 15 for allegedly assaulting a 23-year-old Mashpee man wearing a MAGA hat was again arrested Monday, this time by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement as an illegal immigrant from Brazil who has been living illegally in the U.S. since overstaying a tourist visa in 1994.
ICE spokesman John Mohan said in a statement, “(Rosiane) Santos is currently facing local charges for assault and other offenses. She is presently in ICE custody and has been entered into removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts.”
After her first arrest, Santos admitted to Channel 25, “I had a little bit to drink. Maybe that’s the reason that I couldn’t walk away, but being discriminated for so many times in my life, I just had to stand up for my life.”
The alleged victim, Bryton Turner, a Mashpee man, said in an interview on my radio show last week that in addition to assaulting him as he ate and repeatedly knocking the MAGA cap off his head, the suspect told the bartender, “Poison this kid’s drink.”
Turner said he joined some friends for dinner at the Casa Vallarta Mexican restaurant in Falmouth. He and his friends were sitting at the bar, as was the illegal immigrant.
“She started saying, ‘What does your hat say? What does your hat say?’ I told her and she said, ‘Why would you wear that hat here?’
“I said, ‘It’s America. I can wear this hat wherever I want.’ ”
As Turner and his friends ate, the woman continued to berate him, and finally, he said, she went over and pushed his hat off.
“She started to throw a fit and cause a scene. She threw my hat across the bar three or four times before I took the video with my cellphone. I tried to take the video just so she would stop but she didn’t.”
The bartender called 911 and when the cops arrived, he showed them the video. They were escorting the woman out of the bar when she again lunged at the American taxpayer, hitting him. (Continues)
