There’s not much wrong with his survey of Democrat diversity, but I would quibble with his assessment of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand saying she is young at 52. In fact, among her peer group in the US Senate she does qualify as young, since the average age of members as of December 2018 was 61.8 years, a decade her senior: Kirsten is just a kid in Senate years.

So Howie, let’s go through in order. Some of these candidates, I would say Cory Booker, no one really believed he was going to be the nominee, but who knows, but some of them.,Joe Biden, for example. People were betting big money that he would win. I want to go through the list. You tell me what happened. Joe Biden.
HOWIE CARR: Yes. Well, as Gore Vidal once said, Tucker, “No talent is not enough.” I mean, he just has no political instincts. He showed it again. In the 1970s, he gave all these interviews to newspapers about how he liked working with the segregationist senators. And everybody thought, “Boy, he’s lucky there’s nothing on videotape or audio tape of him saying this.” So what does he do, Tucker?
He goes out and he says it on audio tape and videotape that he likes working with Jim Eastland and Herman Talmadge. I mean, the guy is totally, totally clueless.
He was for the Hyde Amendment before he was against it. He was against reparations before he was for it. He was against busing before he was for it. He is a joke. You’re right.
CARLSON: You’re right, that’s about the crispest summation I can imagine. What about Beto O’Rourke? For a moment, it really did seem like Beto was the guy. I mean, he was our Bobby Kennedy. Now, he’s a joke. Why?
CARR: Well, I think you know, they always talk about the glass ceiling for women in politics, Tucker. I think there’s also a glass ceiling for gigolos. You know, there’s only so far you could rise.
John Kerry married two heiresses, but he never could reach the height. Beto O’Rourke who has changed his name — first name — over the years, obviously, we’ll get to that later on with other candidates. But he married the only child of a guy worth $500 million.
So, I think he’s very soon going to go into his real calling in life, which his son-in-law.
CARLSON: He’s been a good son-in-law. So, what happened to Kirsten Gillibrand?
CARR: Well, here’s another person, Tucker. I’m always a little suspicious of someone who changes their name from when they were in high school or college to when they’re on the ballot.
She used to be — when she was at Dartmouth, she was named Tina Rutnik. Now, her name is Kirsten Gillibrand. I just have suspicions about people like that. She is also somewhat as you say, she has jettisoned everything that she ran for when she was seeking her first seat in Congress in upstate New York.
And, you know, you also shouldn’t tell lies that people can see. I remember when she announced, Tucker, she said, “I’m a young woman.” And I thought to myself, “I’m going to look her up on Google. See how old she is.” She is 52. I’m sorry. You know, maybe. . .
CARLSON: She is older than I am, and I am not young. I totally agree. And quick, what happened to Spartacus? Cory Booker?
CARR: Spartacus is — I’m also suspicious of people who have fictional characters in their life story. You know, I mean, Barack Obama had the composite girlfriend. Cory Booker has this guy T-Bone. He is a fictional drug dealer, and he tries to portray himself as a man of the street, as you said, he went to Yale Law School, he went to Stanford. He is a Rhodes Scholar.
And you know, the other thing, Tucker, as you as you well know, you can’t — TV is a cool medium. You can’t be yelling, and he was up there, Spartacus, “This is my Spartacus moment.” Well, Tucker, as we all know, Spartacus got crucified. I mean, come on. Cory Booker? Who are you kidding?

So Brazilian Rosiane Santos Vieira-Desir has gone to great effort to reside in America, but she appears to hate traditional residents like the MAGA hat wearer. It’s not that unusual a situation: many foreigners move here unlawfully to “have a better life” which means making more money, period, without understanding the combination of freedom and responsibility that makes America wealthy and successful. Hopefully she will be deported ASAP back to Brazil.

MAGA-HAT WEARER BRYTON TURNER: See this right there. This is the problem. Ignorant [bleep] people like this. I am just trying to sit here and eat a nice meal. Yes, yes, you see this? You see this? People like that. That’s the problem. She was trying to grab my hat in front of four officers and that’s smart. She is getting cuffed. Have a nice night in the cell, Rosie.
CARLSON: Well, after the event you just saw, Santos detained was detained by ICE which has not yet been banned by the Democrats. ICE said she was here illegally and has been for a long time. She overstayed tourist visa back in 1994. Howie Carr is the voice of New England, a radio show host in the region and he joins us tonight. Howie, this might be the perfect story.
HOWIE CARR: I would think so. This is a real hate crime with what you just saw, a video involving a MAGA hat. The only thing, it doesn’t fit the narrative. It is an American citizen being attacked by a woman who turns out to be illegal alien by her own admission, drunk. She says, “What are you doing in this Mexican restaurant wearing a MAGA hat?” And he says, “This is America. I can wear this hat wherever I please.”
You know, Tucker you would think, this has all of the elements. So I texted him tonight. His name is Bryton Turner; he was preparing for the hoisting exam, you know, he is in the trades. He has calluses on his hands. I guess that was really triggering the illegal alien and all of that stuff, not just the MAGA hat. And I said, “So, I guess you will be on with Robin Roberts tomorrow on “GMA” and then you’ll go on with Brooke Baldwin and she can say, “This is America in 2019.”
And Kamala Harris and Cory Booker, are they comparing this to a lynching? You know the old country song, you know, “When The Phone Didn’t Ring,” he knew it was CNN, MSNBC, “Good Morning America,” NBC — nobody called him. Nobody called him, Tucker, except for one group nationally. Well, two groups if you include my radio show, “Fox & Friends,” wants him on. Nobody else called him all day long.
CARLSON: Yes, so this is self-serving, but I have got to be honest. If they got rid of the few independent voices in media — and we’re one and you are one — it would just be a chorus singing the same tune, and that’s what they want. Trust me. Howie Carr, thank you very much.

Woman arrested for assaulting man wearing MAGA hat on Cape Cod, Boston 25 News, Updated: February 25, 2019
FALMOUTH, Mass. – A woman on Cape Cod is facing charges for assaulting a man wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.
Rosiane Santos, 41, of Falmouth was charged with disorderly conduct and assault and battery.
Santos told police she was upset the man was wearing the hat in a Mexican restaurant.
The man wearing the hat, 23-year-old Bryton Turner of Mashpee, was so annoyed with the woman’s antics that he pulled out his phone and started recording her.
The incident occurred last Friday at the “Casa Vallarta” Mexican restaurant in Falmouth.
Turner says he was minding his own business, when Santos started yelling at him because of his hat, which bears the theme that President Donald Trump campaigned on.
The woman is seen walking behind him and hitting his hat off his head. . . .

As it happens, the battering Brazilian Rosiane Santos turned out to be an illegal alien, and she is now in ICE custody with deportation being planned.
Unsurprisingly, the perp claimed to be the victim, remarking, “He’s not a victim. I am the victim. I have been bullied, OK?”
So Santos apparently assimilated to America’s current victimhood culture while ignoring the nation’s historic freedom of expression — like wearing the political hat of your choice.

Finally, a story about a hate crime involving a MAGA hat that has a happy ending.
The woman who was arrested in Falmouth on Feb. 15 for allegedly assaulting a 23-year-old Mashpee man wearing a MAGA hat was again arrested Monday, this time by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement as an illegal immigrant from Brazil who has been living illegally in the U.S. since overstaying a tourist visa in 1994.
ICE spokesman John Mohan said in a statement, “(Rosiane) Santos is currently facing local charges for assault and other offenses. She is presently in ICE custody and has been entered into removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts.”
After her first arrest, Santos admitted to Channel 25, “I had a little bit to drink. Maybe that’s the reason that I couldn’t walk away, but being discriminated for so many times in my life, I just had to stand up for my life.”
The alleged victim, Bryton Turner, a Mashpee man, said in an interview on my radio show last week that in addition to assaulting him as he ate and repeatedly knocking the MAGA cap off his head, the suspect told the bartender, “Poison this kid’s drink.”
Turner said he joined some friends for dinner at the Casa Vallarta Mexican restaurant in Falmouth. He and his friends were sitting at the bar, as was the illegal immigrant.
“She started saying, ‘What does your hat say? What does your hat say?’ I told her and she said, ‘Why would you wear that hat here?’
“I said, ‘It’s America. I can wear this hat wherever I want.’ ”
As Turner and his friends ate, the woman continued to berate him, and finally, he said, she went over and pushed his hat off.
“She started to throw a fit and cause a scene. She threw my hat across the bar three or four times before I took the video with my cellphone. I tried to take the video just so she would stop but she didn’t.”
The bartender called 911 and when the cops arrived, he showed them the video. They were escorting the woman out of the bar when she again lunged at the American taxpayer, hitting him. (Continues)

Who’s in charge of public safety in the Senate office building? After the attempted mass murder where Rep. Steve Scalise was nearly killed last summer after being shot during a baseball practice with several other Republicans and Senator Rand Paul had six ribs cracked by a neighbor a few days back, it seems like the safety of elected officials should get more consideration.
Tucker Carlson found the lack of law enforcement to be disappointing:
“A literal horde of illegal immigrants stormed Capitol Hill today — hundreds of illegal immigrants and their supporters assembled in the Hart Senate Office Building very close to right here, chanting slogans in an effort to pressure Congress to disallow the deportation of people here illegally.
Now protesting inside the Hart Building is against the law; many protestors were students cutting school, and of course an illegal immigrant participating in an illegal protest inside the US is illegal on about eight different levels. Nevertheless only 15 arrests were made, and seems unlikely anybody will be deported over this or ever for any reason because we don’t deport people in America.
Howie Carr is a Boston area radio show host, and he joins us tonight. Howie, I mean not to put too fine a point on it, but for people here illegally to show up and scream at elected American representatives about how they demand this, that or the other thing, and then no one does anything about it kind of tells you that the law is toothless now.”
Howie Carr said he didn’t get it either, and went on to cite cases of violent crime in the Boston area committed by illegal aliens, like the Cambodian who beat and robbed an elderly woman in a wheelchair.
