The entitled invaders never consider that they could have their own nation of law and order at home if they did they hard work of reforming what’s broken.

Instead it’s just easier to mooch off America, like the characters in the newspaper article below planned to do.

Naturally, the gang members often tag along through the squishy border because they like the free stuff too. The Obama administration was particularly helpful in welcoming foreign criminals, even though crime is a job (some) Americans will do.

As a result, America has been plagued with increased crime diversity from Central America, a reminder of which occurred a couple weeks ago when authorities arrested 96 members of the MS-13 gang.

So the permissive-immigration-as-rescue project has a fundamental problem — the people trying to escape crime often bring it with them.

Meanwhile, according to the press, America should rescue more of the billions on earth who would benefit from relocation.

Denied asylum, migrants return to place they fear most: home, San Diego Union Tribune, December 29, 2019

SAN PEDRO SULA, Honduras — By now, the young couple thought they’d be in the United States. Somewhere, anywhere, in the United States. They thought they’d have jobs — he’d work construction, maybe she’d be a waitress. They thought they’d be safe. They thought they’d have asylum.

Instead, an American judge swiftly denied their asylum requests. The Trump administration, in making asylum an increasingly remote possibility for everyone, had closed the door on them.

In early August, immigration officials escorted the couple onto a chartered airliner packed with deportees that flew them back to this industrial city in one of the world’s most dangerous countries.

They were home, back in a two-room apartment in the dusty San Pedro Sula neighborhood of Rivera Hernandez.

There was nowhere more frightening.

“They own Rivera Hernandez. The gangs own it,” said the wife, a driven, barely educated daughter of farmworkers who had promised herself as a little girl that she would escape the drudgery of itinerant field work. She, like most migrants living underground in Honduras, spoke on condition that her and her husband’s names not be used, fearing retribution by gangs. “They own the whole place. They walk around freely.” (Continues)

The couple lives in a dangerous country — and why exactly should this be America’s problem when we have plenty of crime already??

Suffolk, County New York District Attorney Timothy Sini appeared Saturday on Fox News to discuss the major international arrests of nearly 100 gang leaders and associates:

MS-13 is justly ranked as one of the worst, most bloodthirsty gangs, since a murder is required for membership, and machetes are a traditional weapon for their frequent homicides.

They tend to prey upon their own kind, although not exclusively: Americans who get on their bad side may be killed.

Below, high school friends Nisa Mickens (left) and Kayla Cuevas (right) were hacked to death by MS-13 gangsters using machetes and baseball bats after Cuevas angered some gangsters on social media and Mickens got in the way.

President Trump invited both sets of parents to his 2018 State of the Union speech.

Keep in mind that President Obama knowingly admitted MS-13 gang members to America with his irresponsible policy of open borders to Central Americans. It was totally predictable that when Obama allowed many thousands to Central aliens to escape gang violence in their homelands, the gangsters would accompany them to the US because that’s what always happens: open borders for victims work for perps as well.

In July, 22 MS-13 members were arrested for a series of murders, and 19 were illegal aliens.

Hopefully future presidents will care more for the public safety of Americans than diversity in immigration.

New York DA on historic MS-13 bust: ‘the fight continues’, Fox News, December 21, 2019

Friday’s announcement of the largest-ever MS-13 crackdown is a “huge blow” against the gang but the fight is not over, Suffolk, County New York District Attorney Timothy Sini said Saturday

Appearing on “Fox & Friends: Weekend” with hosts Pete Hegseth and Emily Compagno, Sini confirmed that 96 MS-13 gang members and associates were charged with significant crimes in the historic bust including murder, conspiracy, drug distribution, and assault. The ages of those arrested range from 16 to 59 and include U.S. citizens and illegal immigrants.

The developments come following a two-year investigation involving law enforcement from the local to the federal level in Suffolk County, one of the gangs’ longtime hotbeds.

Sources told the New York Post that most of the arrests were made Thursday and Friday morning.

“And, as a result of intelligence generated throughout the investigation, law enforcement made over 230 arrests throughout the world including in New York, throughout the United States, and in El Salvador,” Sini said. “This was a global operation.”

Throughout the investigation, authorities recovered drugs in gang members’ possession such as cocaine and fentanyl, as well as handguns and more than $200,000 in cash.

Sini said the use of social media analysis was crucial and they obtained wiretaps on over 215 phones.

“And, I have to say: law enforcement did such a tremendous job because, as they were gathering intelligence, they would use that intelligence in real-time to stop acts of violence and they put their lives on the line to stop those acts of violence,” he said.

“This is a huge blow,” Sini stated. “This decimates the leadership on Long Island.”

MS-13, also known as Mara Salvatrucha, recruits young teenagers from El Salvador and Honduras, though many gang members were born in the U.S. The gang has been blamed for dozens of killings since January 2016 across a wide swath of New York’s Long Island – where Suffolk County is — the Los Angeles area and the D.C. suburbs. Media attention is helpful, because officials like to ignore the fact that open borders have been very harmful to young Americans, from dumbing down primary grades to allowing murderous foreign gangs to terrorize high schools.

On Thursday, the Times included the photo below on its front page.

Wednesday’s story, titled With student’s killing, MS-13 gang’s bloody campaign ensnared LA-area high school, included the following diversity fact as the 23rd paragraph:

Nearly 91% of Panorama High students entered school as children with limited English skills. Even in high school, about 30% remain in classes for non-native speakers.

But more alarming was Thursday’s article which highlighted the cover-up perpetuated by law enforcement and school administrators: a student was reportedly murdered by MS-13 gangsters, two of whom who also attend the school, but parents didn’t need to know. Plus, the paper wrote, “MS-13 had established a significant beachhead at Panorama” which is the language of conquest. Open borders have terrible effects.

MS-13 gang created beachhead at LA-area high school, but authorities insisted on secrecy, Los Angeles Times, July 27, 2019

LOS ANGELES — Law enforcement and school officials have defended 21 months of secrecy around the murder investigation of a Panorama High School student at the hands of MS-13 — one part of a grisly rampage that has generated national headlines and left at least 10 people dead.

They said there was no need to alert teachers, parents and students because other students were never in danger, the gang had little presence on campus, and no acts of gang violence affected the campus itself.

But a month before the October 2017 off-campus slaying of Brayan Andino, another incident linked to MS-13 erupted at the edge of the San Fernando Valley campus.

At least two MS-13 members, including two former Panorama students, are suspected of stabbing and wounding a student as he was leaving school, officials acknowledged.

According to a federal indictment unsealed this month, the assailants approached the victim, identified in court documents as B.C., and yelled, “MS!” — signifying their gang affiliation. They challenged “whether B.C. was from a rival gang,” according to the indictment.

The student “said he did not ‘gangbang,’” but the attackers paid no heed and “stabbed B.C. in the back and abdomen” as he tried to climb over the school’s perimeter fence. The injured student was enrolled in Cal Burke High School, an alternative program on the Panorama campus that has a separate entrance. The attackers fled and B.C. staggered to the school office, which called for help.

Law enforcement sources told the Los Angeles Times that MS-13 had established a significant beachhead at Panorama. And, although Brayan, 16, was killed off campus, it was two girls at the school who investigators say coaxed him to Lake Balboa Park, where gang members, including other classmates, were waiting.

The L.A. Unified School District has denied the presence of a gang clique at the school and said it left the question of whether parents and students should have been alerted to investigators.

As details of the gang’s connections have become public over the last week, some parents and teachers have questioned why officials didn’t alert the campus community earlier.

Only after authorities announced federal indictments of 22 adults on racketeering and murder charges on July 16 did officials with the Los Angeles Unified School District acknowledge that students from Panorama High had also been arrested.

Prosecutors allege that all of the accused are members of a violent subset of MS-13 that killed seven people — including Brayan — over a span of more than two years. Three more deaths linked to MS-13 are being handled in state court, officials said.

“In situations like these, we rely on the best judgment of the law enforcement experts who are working to uncover the truth and bring perpetrators to justice,” said school board member Kelly Gonez, who represents that area. “The best way to ensure the safety of our students, staff and families at Panorama High School and the broader community is to ensure that these violent criminals are arrested and put in jail.”

One result of the secrecy was that after Brayan went missing in late October 2017, school administrators said nothing about it. When his body was found in mid-December they continued to stay mum. Nor was there word about his funeral or any statements of condolence. Principal Rafael Gaeta referred to Brayan as “missing,” said staff members interviewed by the Times. The school district has declined to make Gaeta available for an interview. (Continues)

He began by denouncing Vox.com for supporting the ultra-violent MS-13 gang by “portraying the gang as a bunch of cute teenagers who ride bikes, listen to music and work after-school jobs” when nothing could be further from the truth. He then interviewed the Suffolk Country District Attorney Timothy Sini whose Long Island community has been terrorized by the gang, suffering 17 homicides in 16 months over 2016-17.

Below, violent MS-13 gangsters were admitted in large numbers during Obama’s open borders welcome to Central American illegal aliens.

Steyn then remarked, “America remains in the grips of an immigration crisis in other aspects too, with one of the two major parties increasingly promoting policies indistinguishable from full-blown open borders. Any effort to enforce the country’s border invites accusations of racism even though Mexico is actually deporting more people who come from Honduras than the United States does.”

The next interview was Enrique Acevedo, an anchor at Mexico’s Univision network.

As an opening volley, Steyn queried, “Enrique, this is interesting to me that Mexico is allowed to deport Hondurans without being accused of being racist while the US is, and why does one country get to enforce its borders but another doesn’t?”

The conversation moved along to the big question about the intrinsic worth of immigration, i.e. whether it is beneficial or harmful:

ACEVEDO: We could have a larger debate on the benefits of immigration: I would ask you what is so wrong about immigration? How’s immigration hurting the US, or how is this different to other immigration throughout history?

STEYN: It’s predicted that 30 percent of the world’s jobs are going to going to be outmoded by automation and robots, so nobody needs, no developed nation needs mass immigration these days.

Perfect — Steyn gives the correct, 21st century answer, that automation makes immigration obsolete! It’s nice to see an informed remark on television about the technological future.

There’s more in the video, but the automation mention was definitely the high point.

So the pro-diversity editors must have been truly alarmed on Tuesday to front-page an MS-13 story about junior gangsters endangering a Maryland middle school.

It is a shocking idea to contemplate pre-teens attending a school where gang fights are a near-daily occurrence and some fellow students are pledged to a group whose motto is “rape, control, kill.” But this is what happens when open borders allow the worst criminals on earth to come to America.

A Maryland middle school has junior versions of these characters:

As Mark Krikorian wrote last February about the MS-13 “resurgence” under the Obama administration in Broken Windows (Immigration) Policing:

. . . Then came the Obama administration, which prohibited ICE agents from taking into custody any illegal aliens, even known gang members, for minor offenses or immigration violations. “ICE officers were no longer permitted to arrest and remove foreign gang members until they had been convicted of major crimes.” Gang arrests by ICE dropped by two-thirds from 2012 to 2014.

At the same time, the Obama administration facilitated a huge influx of Central American teenagers across the border, whom it released into the United States. The result? “Beginning in 2015, law enforcement agencies across the country began to express concerns about the renewal of MS-13 activity in a number of locations.” Among the locations experiencing the scourge of a revived MS-13 are the Washington, D.C., area and Long Island, N.Y.

Obama did enormous damage this country by unleashing immigration anarchy, and one place where the human cost can be seen is William Wirt Middle School in Riverdale, Maryland.

Parents, teachers, students fear gang activity at Maryland middle school, SFGate.com, By Michael E. Miller, The Washington Post, June 11, 2018

The boys had once been friends before MS-13 began recruiting one of them. Now, as other students streamed to class one April morning at William Wirt Middle School in Riverdale, Maryland, the two teens squared off in the third-story bathroom — a fight captured by another student on his cellphone.

The MS-13 recruit threw a punch at his former friend’s head. His opponent ducked and tackled the 15-year-old, their sneakers squealing as they tumbled to the green tile floor.

“I like that,” someone shouted off-camera as the recruit tried to cover his head.

“That look like it hurt,” someone wrote under the video, which was uploaded to Instagram on April 19 and has been viewed more than 400 times.

Gang-related fights are now a near-daily occurrence at Wirt, where a small group of suspected MS-13 members at the overwhelmingly Hispanic school throw gang signs, sell drugs, draw gang graffiti and aggressively recruit students recently arrived from Central America, according to more than two dozen teachers, parents and students. Most of those interviewed asked not to be identified for fear of losing their jobs or being targeted by MS-13.

Although administrators deny Wirt has a gang problem, the situation inside the aging, overcrowded building has left some teachers so afraid that they refuse to be alone with their students. Many said they had repeatedly reported incidents involving suspected gang members to administrators, only to be ignored — claims supported by documents obtained by The Washington Post.

“Teachers feel threatened but aren’t backed up. Students feel threatened but aren’t protected,” one educator said. “The school is a ticking time bomb.”

The gang’s presence at Wirt comes at a time when the Trump administration has declared war on MS-13, and communities throughout the country are confronting a surge in MS-13-related violence.

Nearly a dozen parents told The Post they were worried about gang activity at the school, which is located 10 miles from the White House. Many said they were intent on transferring their kids. Several said they were scared their children would be killed.

One eighth-grader said she had been raped in the fall by a schoolmate in MS-13 — an attack that took place off school property and that she reported to police, but then recanted out of fear of the gang. Prince George’s investigators concluded the report was unfounded, but the girl said she now lives in fear the gang will stab her as she leaves school.

“MS dominates the school,” she said. “But I don’t even tell the security guards what goes on anymore because they don’t seem to care.”

Rhonda Simley, the principal at Wirt, declined repeated requests for an interview.

“The principal is aware of concerns about gangs in the community, but has not experienced any problems in school,” Prince George’s County school system spokesman John White wrote in an email.

Prince George’s police, which has an officer stationed at the school, declined to discuss the allegations of gang activity.

So it’s good to see some arrests made in Las Vegas, although five apprehensions are just a pin prick on an organization of 10,000 members in the US whose gang initiation is killing someone.

A Fox News report on Tuesday noted that a decline in prosecutions in the nineties and the gang’s recruitment of illegal alien minors here have led to a resurgence. Furthermore, reporter William La Jeunesse remarked that “it’s rare” for MS-13 members to be US citizens, and many are held on immigration violations as a result.

The following map shows MS-13 crime locales in 22 states since 2012:

Never forget that part of the reason for the spread of the MS-13 gang was President Obama’s encouragement of illegal aliens from Central America to flock here en masse. And so they did, including many criminals among the thousands of unaccompanied minors welcomed at the time. As immigration scholar Jessica Vaughan observed, “But when the gang leadership decided to launch a more concerted effort to enlarge in the United States, it was able to take advantage of the Obama administration’s catch-and-release policies for unaccompanied minors apprehended at the border to move in younger members from Central America.”

In February, Vaughan authored a sobering Center for Immigration Studies report, MS-13 Resurgence: Immigration Enforcement Needed to Take Back Our Streets which should be required reading for every member of Congress.

Here are more details about the gang arrests in Las Vegas:

Las Vegas: MS-13 Gang Responsible for 10 Murders in Last Year, Breitbart.com, March 26, 2018

The violent El Salvadorian MS-13 gang is responsible for at least ten murders in Clark County, Nevada, Sheriff Joe Lombardo announced on Monday.

Lombardo said during the news conference that two of the murders by MS-13 occurred in 2017, while the other eight took place this year. All the murders by the gang occurred within a 12-month span, with the latest murder happening less than a week ago, Lombardo confirmed.

“The suspects involved in these crimes are extremely violent and killed their victims over as little as identifying with another gang or participating in street level narcotic sales,” Lombardo said. “All the victims were either shot or stabbed numerous times.”

Lombardo said his sheriff’s department is “confident” that the MS-13 gang members involved in the murders have been located and arrested.

Another official said one victim that had been shot and stabbed multiple times was a former MS-13 gang member. Weeks later, police discovered another murder victim of the gang who had been shot and stabbed. He too was a current or former MS-13 gang member.

The other victims, according to police, were involved with Mexican gangs.

In late 2017, Breitbart News reported how about one-third of the 215 MS-13 gang members arrested that month across the U.S. were unaccompanied minors who had illegally crossed into the country and were later resettled in the country.

But if [...]]]> The elite paper front-paged an illustrated article on Friday asserting that while MS-13 gangsters are well known machete murderers, President Trump’s campaign against the Salvadoran gang is “out of proportion with the threat.”

Apparently the article’s point is that MS-13 is not equally spread throughout the nation (fortunately!), which is certainly true. But if a dozen of the gangsters were to start attending the high school of the authors’ kids, the scribblers might have a different view of the problem.

Perhaps the writers missed the November 22 headline from the New York Post: Decapitated MS-13 victim stabbed 100 times, heart ripped out of chest. The crime is an example of how the gang gets its way through terror that often rivals the brutality of the jihadist world.

In MS-13-afflicted areas, kids may be afraid to go to school because of all the gang activity, and some of the murder victims have been students like Nisa Mickens and Kayla Cuevas, slaughtered by MS-13.

Wherever MS-13 members show up, there is death and terror in abundance, but Obama thought open borders to Central Americans would be great for the Democrats, so some number of gangsters joined the thousands headed north in 2014-16. And even though the New York Times says “Not all members of MS-13, or Mara Salvatrucha, are illegal immigrants,” the Center for Immigration Studies puts the number at 92 percent which is pretty close.

But President Trump is the problem because he sees MS-13 as a threat to public safety.

A Gang’s Fearsome Reputation, Further Inflated by the President, New York Times, March 1, 2018

WASHINGTON — Early in his term, Attorney General Jeff Sessions instructed his top investigative deputies to target the transnational gang MS-13 as a priority. A year later, drug task forces have new powers to fight MS-13, more federal prosecutors are pursuing charges against the street gang with ties to El Salvador and foreign allies have been enlisted to capture its members.

Few dispute the violent menace that MS-13 is to pockets of communities across the United States. Its members yield machetes, kill with abandon and terrorize — for the most part — immigrant communities.

But law enforcement officials at local, state and federal levels describe the Trump administration’s hard-charging campaign against MS-13 as out of proportion with the threat.

President Trump has seized on the gang’s brutality and violence to symbolize the risks of illegal immigration.

Not all members of MS-13, or Mara Salvatrucha, are illegal immigrants. Nor does the gang survive on the global trafficking of drugs, guns or people.

Police and prosecutors in areas where MS-13 is most active said the heightened focus on the gang has come at the expense of fighting more widespread threats to the United States, particularly opioids and human trafficking.

At a meeting with Mr. Sessions last March, Chuck Rosenberg, then the acting head of the Drug Enforcement Administration, said it made little sense to focus on MS-13 over more dangerous organizations. He refused to commit more resources to combating the gang, according to two people familiar with the private meeting. Mr. Rosenberg has since left the Trump administration.

“MS-13 is certainly a threat, just not the one the president is making it out to be,” said Tom Manger, the police chief in Montgomery County, Md., a Washington suburb where the gang has one of its largest concentrations. Police there dealt with only four MS-13-related police incidents last year — but a total of five homicides — compared with zero in 2013.

“They are a local public safety threat, but they are not a national security threat,” Chief Manger said.

That accusation is not an overstatement: the Washington Times reported on May 24, 2017, Obama admin knew gang members were part of illegal immigrant surge: Whistleblower. The “unaccompanied children” flooding north across the border a few years back included some truly dangerous characters to the point where American kids have been terrified to go to school because of the MS-13 gangsters now present. President Trump’s State of the Union speech included recognition of American parents whose children had been murdered by MS-13 gangsters.

One measure proposed to deal with Obama’s sabotage is Congressman Lee Zeldin’s bill to remove citizenship from foreign gangsters.

That topic was discussed when Jessica Vaughan of the Center for Immigration Studies appeared on Fox News recently (spare video):

STEVE DOOCY: This gang really burst into the American consciousness during the Obama years because of why?

JESSICA VAUGHAN: Yes the gang had been here before but definitely had a rebound during the Obama years because first of all, immigration enforcement declined in the interior of the country deliberately under the Obama administration. They they put restrictions on ICE officers on who they could arrest. And also during this time, there was this influx of illegal arrivals from Central America, mostly teenagers but also some families with kids who benefited from the catch-and-release policies that the Obama administration had in place, and they were resettled in places all over the country which happened to be those very same places where MS-13 has seen a resurgence. And the gang knew about the lenient policies and was deliberately taking advantage of them to build its ranks here and they’ve been on a horrific crime spree ever since.

DOOCY: No kidding, we’ve got some facts: 207 murders have been tied to MS-13 since 2012; 500 MS-13 members charged for major crimes since 2012 as well, and I understand that since January of 2016 there have been 17 people killed by MS-13. But here’s the thing, it’s hard to deport a lot of these people, Jessica, because they are in sanctuary areas.

VAUGHAN: That is a problem. We found about half of the cases we looked at took place in sanctuary jurisdictions, and these places are a magnet for illegal settlement and especially for transnational criminal organizations because they know that police are forced to look the other way at their immigration status they can’t work with ICE, so it’s that’s a great deal for them. It gives them sanctuary.

DOOCY: You’ve got to like the proposal by Lee Zeldin, the congressman from the great state of New York. He’s introduced the Protecting Our Communities from Gang Violence Act. It would revoke the citizenship of people who acquired citizenship and who’re involved in a gang like MS-13. Does this bill have a chance to make it to the President’s desk?

VAUGHAN: I think it might because the House is going to hopefully be moving on some good immigration legislation, the Goodlatte bill, Securing America’s Future Act, and I think it’s important to include this provision to denaturalize gang members. We don’t want them being citizens if they benefit from an amnesty or marry an American citizen. It’s a good tool for immigration to have and there may be a way to do that.

He met with Congress members, law enforcement officers and administration officials, in particular Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.

An underlying theme of the meeting was the inability of current laws to do the job of protecting the public from savage, relentless MS-13 gangsters. A big problem is the situation where illegal aliens can show up and lie saying they are seeking asylum, and the government has to let them in — which is no way to run a border.

Many of these young men are illegal aliens from El Salvador who end up in local high schools which they then terrorize. That’s how the two teenaged girls were killed on overrun Long Island whom President Trump highlighted in his State of the Union speech.

After welcoming all the participants in the meeting by name, the president sketched out the problem:

PRESIDENT TRUMP: MS-13 recruits through our broken immigration system, violating our borders. And it just comes right through — whenever they want to come through, they come through. It’s much tougher now since we’ve been there, but we need much better border mechanisms and much better border security. We need the wall; we’re going to get the wall. If we don’t have the wall, we’re never going to solve this problem. And I’ve gone to the top people. Many of these people are at the table right now, including this group. And without the wall, it’s not going to work.

During my State of the Union, I called on Congress to close the immigration loopholes that have allowed this deadly gang to break so easily into our country. My administration has identified three priorities. We went through and looked very closely. We’ve identified three priorities for creating a safe, modern, and lawful immigration system: securing the border, ending chain migration, and cancelling the terrible visa lottery.

We’ve been discussing it, we’ve been talking about it. We’re talking about it in Congress. We’re talking about DACA and how we can work that out. And I think the Democrats don’t want to make a deal, but we’ll find out.

As Congress considers immigration reform, it’s essential that we listen to the law enforcement professionals in this room today. . .

SECRETARY NIELSEN: Yes, Mr. President, thank you for hosting this roundtable today on MS-13. As you know, it’s the first gang dangerous enough to be classified as a transnational criminal organization.

We’ve talked at length of the devastating destruction and violence that it causes in our communities, and we’re here today to hear form a variety of folks who work every day to combat this.

First, I’d just like to say it’s my privilege to be here with the men and women of DHS and DOJ who make it their job every day to fight this and other violence coming across our borders, and also, to be joined by members of Congress who have shown great leadership. We thank you for that and always for your support of DHS and DOJ. So thank you all.

In your recently announced framework, as you know, you asked Congress to close loopholes that you just talked about. So when we talk about MS-13, we have two or three main loopholes.

The first is, we have an inadmissibility problem, meaning that when they come to our border, I have to let them in. I cannot keep them out by virtue of them being in a gang. Once we catch them and detain them, I cannot remove them by virtue of them being in a gang.

Maryland Community Lives in Fear Because of MS-13 Gang https://www.limitstogrowth.org/articles/2017/12/22/maryland-community-lives-in-fear-because-of-ms-13-gang/ Fri, 22 Dec 2017 18:24:12 +0000 https://www.limitstogrowth.org/?p=15998 A few years ago, President Obama opened the southern border to illegal aliens from Central America, thereby inviting the ultra-violent MS-13 gang into the United States.

(Is it a stretch to call the gang “ultra-violent”? Try this headline from the New York Post (Nov. 22): Decapitated MS-13 victim stabbed 100 times, heart ripped out of chest.)

As Judge Jeanine Pirro remarked on a televised interview:

If you recall they came into this country in 2014 under the Obama administration policy of allowing in those from Central America — El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala. I was one of those people saying look, as a DA, MS-13 is from El Salvador; they are without a doubt the most violent gang where initiation involves beating someone to death in front of others. . .

They came into this country, they told Border Patrol — “I’m MS-13, I’m a gang member” — and the Border Patrol could not stop them. They’ve got all of the indicia of being gang members, all the tats, and they have been allowed into this country. The Obama administration flew them all over.

In the April 2017 video below, Tucker Carlson said that ISIS is “nothing compared to MS-13 . . . unlike ISIS, MS-13 makes it hard to live in certain neighborhoods here in this country. Also unlike ISIS, there are a lot of them. ISIS may have a significant passive support in the U.S. and a lot of us suspect it does, but true active ISIS members — pretty small, maybe a few hundred at most. MS-13, by contrast, has at least 6,000 members.”

There have been arrests of MS-13 gangsters, like the 200 rounded up this fall. But with thousands of them in the country, thanks to Obama, getting rid of the crime monsters will take a while.

MS-13 members are apparently into tats.

The Washington Post highlighted the crime crisis on Thursday, with a sob story photo of a crying immigrant, Abigail Bautista — oh wait, she’s an illegal alien, as the reader learns later in the article. The Post can’t bother to find a citizen who has been harmed by the gang, although there is no shortage.

Here’s the original full story in the Washington Post: ‘People Here Live in Fear’: MS-13 Menaces Prince George’s County Community.

The link below has a substantial snip from that article:

‘People in fear’: MS-13 menaces a community 7 miles from the White House, December 20 2017

It took Abigail Bautista less than a month of living in Langley Park to learn that her new neighborhood in Maryland had its own set of laws, written not in statutes but in gang graffiti and blood.

The Guatemalan mother of five was pushing a cart of merchandise along University Boulevard one winter morning in late 2012 when three young men approached.

“Do you know who we are?” one asked her in Spanish.

Bautista shook her head.

“We are La Mara Salvatrucha,” he said. “And here, there are rules.”

Pay $60 “rent” per week or there would be trouble, he said. Undocumented and afraid of being deported if she went to police, Bautista began handing over the cash.

She had heard of the international street gang growing up in Central America, where MS-13, as it’s known, controls cities through brutality and corruption. But she had lived for the better part of a decade in the United States without crossing its path.

Now, she realized, she’d unwittingly moved into MS-13 territory a mere seven miles from the White House.

As the gang has grown in strength in recent years, so has its sway over communities across the country. From Boston to Northern Virginia to Houston, a string of grisly MS-13 murders has highlighted its resurgence, drawing a response from the White House.

“One by one, we’re liberating our American towns,” President Trump said this summer in Long Island, where MS-13 has been linked to more than a dozen recent killings.

Left out of Trump’s speeches, however, is the fact that most of the gang’s victims are not Americans but undocumented immigrants like Bautista. And when it comes to the gang’s infamous motto of “kill, rape, control,” it’s the third — enforced daily through extortion and intimidation — that defines life for some immigrants in places such as Langley Park.

“They are preying on the communities that they are living in,” said Michael McElhenny, a supervisory special agent for the FBI in Maryland.

More than a decade after a string of MS-13 killings shook the heavily Latino neighborhood, Langley Park is still struggling to shake off the gang’s influence. Despite aggressive policing, the area continues to be plagued by MS-13 drug dealing, prostitution, robbery, extortion and murder, according to court records and interviews with residents, activists, prosecutors and gang experts, as well as local and federal law enforcement officials.

Deputy Chief Sammy Patel of the Prince George’s County police said years of anti-gang operations have broken MS-13’s “stranglehold” on Langley Park and prevented the spike in killings seen elsewhere.

“We always target MS-13,” he said. “They aren’t running amok.”

Patel said there was a slight decline in violent crime in Langley Park between 2013 and 2016, although he acknowledged that the gang remains active in the neighborhood.

In fact, prosecutors consider Langley Park a “hub” of MS-13 activity and say the gang was likely responsible for all five slayings there in the past four years.

Bautista wasn’t the only one extorted by MS-13.

One of her neighbors was told to pay the gang or she’d find her husband’s body in a dumpster. Another said she was given days to come up with $1,500 earlier this year or MS-13 would k!ll her children in Central America.
