How sweet it is to see one of the worst examples of Washington evil get squashed like a bug in his own state, a “humiliating Florida loss” where Little Marco got a measly 27 percent of primary votes while northerner Trump got an impressive 46 percent.
Take that, Amnesty Man! The people won’t forget lying and treason.
The Golden State remains #1 in a most unfortunate category: poverty. Democrat regulatory policies strangling business certainly cause a lot of joblessness which keeps millions poor. Plus, the purposeful admission of millions immigrants and illegal aliens is a tremendous poverty driver.
California is particularly welcoming to illegal aliens. Democrat Governor Jerry Brown reportedly told a room […]
At a time when belt-tightening is a necessary strategy for many states, the number bankrolling educations for illegal aliens is increasing: now 15 states are wasting taxpayer funds on foreigners when many citizens could use a hand.
Do these states have too much money? Or perhaps their priorities are all screwed up, in the liberal style.
It was a pleasant surprise to see ICE Union Director Chris Crane appear on the Mike Huckabee show Saturday. (The host was a squish on immigration enforcement when he ran for President in 2008.)
Crane reported that few House members have been interested in what enforcement officers see on the ground, just as the Gang of […]
Over in the Republican House, the establishment leaders have been quietly huddling to crank out measures of immigration non-enforcement that they hope will be attractive to the highly sought hispanic voter. The new thing is the Kid Act, a downsized DREAM Act, which would amnesty the kiddies but would not allow the young newbies to […]
The loud leftist press continues to hammer Rep. Steve King about his statement that many more drug smugglers than valedictorians would be amnestied under the DREAM aspect of the big freebie legislation. Once lib scribblers agree upon an easily defined target to vilify, they are sharks smelling blood.
King stated that “for everyone who’s a valedictorian, […]
Rush Limbaugh read parts of Byron York’s article (below) on Friday about the Gang of Eight amnesty strategy of Senator Marco Rubio (pictured) being the front man to explain away fears among conservative media. Limbaugh ostentatiously cleared his throat when reading how conservatives were “disappointed” with Rubio. Ahem! [Listen.]
In fact, Rush Limbaugh has had a […]
Thursday saw an instance of dueling press conferences in the big capitol city. On one side was 7/8 of the Gang of Eight Senators, plus an assortment of other high-profile open-borders enthusiasts in suits, from friend-of-hostile-Islam Grover Norquist to AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka, and representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and la Raza (“the Race”).
Senator Jeff Sessions is one of the best list makers in Washington, in a good way. Efforts in years past have pointed out the nasty fine print in the 2011 DREAM Amnesty with 10 terrible items and 20 Loopholes in the 2007 Senate Amnesty Bill.
Now he is back with 10 excellent questions for the Gang […]
The issue of taxpayer-funded financial aid for illegal alien students in the state has been moving along through the system, and now it is here. Jerry Brown signed the California Dream Act into law in October 2011.
As Assemblyman Tim Donnelly remarked at that time, “Tuition rates have been going up, the universities have budget cuts […]
Of all the harmful policies Obama has brewed up in the last four years, one of the most concerning from a national security perspective is his catch-and-release amnesty for anybody claiming to be a DREAMer kid. Any semi-young person caught crossing the border illegally merely has to say he is covered by Obama’s administrative amnesty:
Liberal Californians like to think the state is ahead of the rest of the country. And in many ways yes, California is a leader — in overspending, in crazy unilateral environmental restrictions, and in supplying taxpayer aid to illegal alien college students even while middle class citizens struggle with costs.
Below, a diverse crowd attended a […]
