Who Are We?

LimitsToGrowth is the web home of the Bay Area Coalition for Immigration Reform (BACIR) and Immigration Reform Network of Silicon Valley (IRNSV), grassroots groups located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Local contact information is listed below.

While spanning a diversity of political viewpoints, our members agree that environmental concerns, economic equity, social harmony and citizenship issues can be adequately addressed only with a stabilized U.S. population. This means a reduction in immigration to a level leading to a sustainable population.

LimitsToGrowth rejects the irrational ideology of growth at any cost. In the same way that “good fences make good neighbors,” the consideration of reasonable limits brings sane social policy.

Our groups have semi-regular meetings in San Francisco and in the San Jose area. Call for specific information.

This website is the outgrowth of our highly regarded print newsletter. It is published fourn times per year and has a somewhat wider variety of articles than what is presented here. You are invited to subscribe for $25 sent to the address immediately below.
