ACROSS:

1 LOTTERY In an effort to increase diversity, each year the U.S. allows 50,000 foreigners fast-track citizenship simply by having names drawn randomly. The U.S. thereby invites cultures which condone infanticide, slavery and “honor killing.”

3 DIVERSITY Despite wars worldwide being fired by ethnic differences, Americans are brainwashed to embrace diversity.

7 VISA Those in the country legally possess a visa that entitles them to study, work, or visit in the U.S.

9 ILLEGAL The late Sonny Bono said it best: “Illegal means illegal.” But the Politically Correct wish to replace this word with the kinder, gentler (and less accurate) “undocumented.”

11 ASSIMILATE After being the ideal of inclusion, assimilation has become a pejorative term as foreigners are urged to keep their language, culture and homeland ties.

13 PHONY Phony identification is easily purchased off the street, including fake Social Security cards and drivers licenses.

16 GREEN Historically called a Green Card, it is the visa that makes living in the U.S. legal.

18 BARRIER The barrier is often a torn-down fence.

20 LICENSE Championed by most California Hispanic legislators, the bill would have made it easy for anyone to get a drivers license without proof of legal residence, thereby easing the process of illegal foreigners getting American identification.

21 GUEST The Bracero program brought Mexicans north to work temporarily on U.S. farms. Many overstayed. Now there is a new clamor from growers to repeat this folly.

22 CIS The Center for Immigration Studies has published many important reports on the effects of immigration on American society.

23 RAND Defined CA's immigration tax as $1200/household in its book Immigration in a Changing Economy.

24 ETHNIC This word hardly appeared in print prior to the current wave of mass immigration.

26 NAFTA The North American Trade Agreement was sold to the American people as a cure for illegal immigration from Mexico. Instead, it has accelerated immigration by driving subsistence farmers off the land, into the cities, and then across our border.

27 MALDEF Funded by the Ford Foundation, the group has no members and supports a Mexican takeover of the southwest.

DOWN:

2 TEXAS After California, Texas is home to the most immigrants.

3 DEPORT Thousands of criminal aliens await deportation but their own country refuses to accept them, thus burdening Americans with the cost of indefinite incarceration.

4 SPANISH So-called “bilingual education” is actually instruction in Spanish and other languages, and is foisted upon American kids in majority Hispanic areas.

5 TUITION Foreign students often fail to pay for taxpayer-subsidized education or they receive a better deal than American students. (Many could pay, with their new American jobs.)

6 MELTING For a century the goal of immigration was to transform foreigners into Americans — the idea of a melting pot. Today the idea is scorned, replaced by the romantic ideal of a multicultural society, despite consistent evidence of how poorly this plays out elsewhere (Quebec, Ireland, Yugoslavia, etc.)

8 INS The INS has the dual, conflicting role of enforcing our immigration laws while also overseeing the chain immigration that our laws encourage.

10 CHAIN “Family reunification” immigration self-perpetuates and multiplies as a chain reaction does — 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, etc.

12 LTE Letters to the Editor are the voice of the people. Immigration reform advocates must use this tool again and again to let others know how the system is out of control.

13 POROUS U.S. borders are sometimes a hole in a chain-link fence. If there is a fence.

14 OVERSTAY Many arriving in the U.S. with a legal visa simply overstay their visit and become stealth illegal immigrants with no messy border-crossing drama.

15 CA California is the residence of the most illegal foreigners — around three million.

17 RACIST It is politically correct to promote the demographic advantage of an ethnic group — as long as it is not Caucasian or European.

18 BILLION U.S. Census Bureau has mid-level projections of 600 million and high level of 1.2 billion by the end of the century.

19 MEXICO Mexico is a rich country of 100 million mostly poor people. The birth rate assures 200 million within 50 years. The country is profoundly corrupt. Despite the clear and present danger of importing poverty, sedition and overpopulation, Mexican immigration — legal and illegal — continues unabated.

25 HUD HUD has a “don't ask, don't tell” policy that makes Americans pay to house illegal immigrants.
